The system seems to be very accurate, but to me it seems awkward, has anyone figured a way to alter it and yet still maintain the accuracy
Hi Lamas, thanks for your help, I do think the system is very accurate, where I am having trouble, is lining up over the spot on the front of the cue ball that is in line with the pocket. The pivoting seems natural to me, because I have done it for a long time. Are you suppose to always move your bridge back, or was your diagram just showing a close bridge for another poster? I have only experimented with it, and to be honest, haven't give it enough time to feel more natural.

Yes but only few comments.....
I prefer using EDGEX system.
Now I'm working on an interesting automatic one. Keep reading...
I was trying this today. Finding 'A' not really easy as you can't see the other side of the cue ball.
FInding A is quite simple: you have to see the line from the pocket towards the cue ball. The intersection is A.
You can use the cue to help you.
Anyway it's not necessary to identify the right spot on the face of the cue ball you cannot see, rather it's necessary to determine on the cue ball circumference the spot which is towards the pocket "from above": when you stand up,
