SBE VF 2009: Dinner @ Sullivan's 3/20

Hayden,
I was in Bangkok, Tokyo, and Chicago yesterday. Tomorrow I'll be in K.C., and Tuesday I'll be in Vegas. I travel all over, all the time.

Right now I'm supposed to be in L.A. on the same date as the Sullivan's GTG. I really want to be there, but I just can't confirm yet.

I will have a solid "Yes" or "No" by the deadline. And if I can make it, a deposit will be no problem.

Your situation is beyond acceptable. You've communicated this previously. :-) You're off the hook. Do what you can brother.

Your availability may ultimately be moot if I can't get everyone on their horse.

Oh. Absolutely. I'm still going to dinner there on that Friday come hell or high water...even if it's only with the small handful that have committed. I don't care either way. LOL I really do hope to see you there. As you can attest...it's one damn fine place to dine.

Just a friendly reminder that deposits are due by February 14th. That's 3 weeks, gentlemen. For those that have paid, thank you very much. For those who have not...try and help me out here. We're nearing crunch time. If you cannot attend, or simply cannot commit at this time, please let me know either way.

That's awesome Dan. It's going to be a good time. Looking forward to meeting you. My recommendation is either the 20 oz. Kansas City strip...or the Porterhouse. I usually get a steak and a lobster tail...and side orders...and dessert...and a bottle of wine...with cigars and cocktails before and after. LOL I'm not a cheap date...and it's no surprise I'm 6'5" 240. LOL
 
Deposits are due in 12 days...and less than 20% of deposits have been remitted. I'm going to bump this today, and once more when a week is left. Tick tock, gentlemen.

I know this was meant to be sort of show up when you can but I will not be able to leave the booth untill 8pm and can make it there shortly after. What time is everyone else planning on going?

Reservation is going to be made for 7PM. That's when we'll be seated. People can feel free to show up in advance however...and hang out in the bar...although on Friday evening's...it WILL be crowded. I'm going to get there early myself.
 
Please pull me from the list as I will not be able to leave the booth till 8 as well and by the time everything get packed up and put away It''ll be to late.
 
Short of being stuck in the middle of a sale, I can be packed up and in the lobby by about 8:20 or so. I will shoot over there then. Tom Gedris will be riding with me too. I should have room for 2-3 others if anyone working the show needs a lift. Chris.
 
Can i just stop by for a drink to say "hello" ?

being a vegetarian, steak is not a meal i can partake in.. but since i'll have flown over 15 hours to get to NY and spend several more hours on the road, i'd like to stop by and say hello if that is ok ...

maybe i can just pick up a nice single malt at the bar and stroll through the crowd ...

if not, just stop me at the expo and say hello .. i don't know any of you by face ( except tikkler ) so if you see an indian guy walking around the show, please introduce yourselves :)

it's always good to meet new people....

It's never too late boss. We have the place until the end of the evening...which is around 1AM. Stop by when you have a chance. :-) There are several gentlemen with booths in the same boat you are.

Hey Kam...by all means...stop by. They have plenty for the vegetarian...trust me.
 
I think there will be several of us there that will be working the show so I don't think getting there a little later will be an issue. Chris.
 
Its looking more like I'm gonna make it. I'll Paypal funds as soon as it is confirmed.
