Whats the plan for Friday?

Hi Guys,
I know we are planning on getting together at my shop on Friday sometime, just curious on the timing. If we have time I would like to run a set of Gold Crown rails through my fixture for those who haven't seen it. Also, we have a few others that have some cool tricks to share. I have been crazy busy lately so I am unsure if I will have some of the recent tooling finished but I will see what I can do in the crunch. Talk to you all later.

Great times with the guys, good to finally meet up with everyone and next time.... Bob brings the skillet....! lol

Belly still hurts from laughing!

That was a great time last night. I have not laughed so hard and so much in years. From the arm wrestling to the talk of a rail tossing competion. It sure was nice having Glen make a short appearance. Funny thing though, Just like Clark Kent with Superman , Don (aka: my illegitimate son or so the hot bartender is lead to believe) never seemed to be around when Glen showed up..humm.

To everyone else..Thank you for a great time. I feel very lucky to be in an industry with good quality people like yourselves. I can not wait til we do it again. I hope if any of you are at the BCA trade show we can do dinner there. They are probaly a little more used to arm wrestling in upscale steakhouses and John bellowing at the top of his lungs .lol

John..I do not agree with you sometimes but I will always respect and like you. And to answer your question you asked about if there was a problem. I would be one of the first to jump up beside you.

thanks Pat, like your honesty. Things just seem to go out of control around me all the time. Just don't know why that happens? hahhaha

Yeah, I think we will all be smiling for a while from that nite. Ok so the next mech jamboree will feature a GC3 rail toss in the parking lot, a frying pan bending competition, etc so funny I'm still laughing
 
Very entertaining!

Guy's it was a great time....I want to thank John for organizing the event, Rob for his hospitality, Pat, for putting me up the first night, Shane, for beating John pulling wrists, Steve, for crippling my arm, Bobby, for all the health advice, Donny, for being hilarious, Josh, for being the voice of reason in a sea of insanity... Really had a good time, looking forward to next year.

Thanks for a great time! It was a pleasure to meet everyone! My arm will heal someday.....Hopefully....and I will break out the pan! So how many of you tried it at home? Common fess-up!
 
Last year was fun wasn't it. Lots of turmoil again this year, eh? anyways you can't have tea if you don't boil water

This year if there is interest I will again set up a dinner. The second annual Mech meeting which is dedicated to Al Conte as it was last year. We shouldn't forget him as he was one of the guys that did build this artform and even into his late age could whip out rails etc better than anybbody.

So add your names, if you would like to attend. Sullivans again SAT nite at 6:30 if they don't remember us. LOL
