The ad is correct. It is a Schon previously owned by Keith McCready, who had a role in "The Color of Money." That is his cue, and that is my leopard print carpeting that the cue is sitting on.

It is Keith's Schon cue. I distinctively remember it was sold in the early 2000s.

A very nice gentleman from Chicago bought it and said that he was going to encase it and display it in a pool room that had a gothic theme. Keith also sent about a half-a-dozen 8-1/2-by-11 photos that were individually autographed to friends of the buyer.

This Schon has a really good hit. It's an older Schon model, as I recall. If this stick could talk, it would be able to write a book that would entertain the masses.

I would consider the cue authenticated!!! I reckon!!!

I don't understand why you reference the Color of Money when advertising this cue, using Keith's name is enough. The cue used in the Color of Money was a Joss model J-18.

If the cue was owned by Keith, did you get an LOA. If not contact Jam here on the forum she can help your get one I think.

Take Care

I think the OP didn't mean to say that it was the cue used in Color of Money. Otherwise, I find it hard to believe that Schon used CNC back in 1986 (they might have just started, though). Regardless, good luck with the sale, nice stick...

Check out post #7.

Good Luck with your sale,
Chris

So, who's JAM???

LOL! You know, I never really visit this Wanted/For Sale section of the forum very often. I was surprised to see that there are just as many members reading *this* section of the forum as there are in the NPR, Main Section, and Action areas. Wow!

I just now noticed the date on this thread. The cue has probably already been sold. :D
