I would like to see photos of R-6's. I am curious about all of the veneer colors and birdseye vs straight grain forearms. I will post mine when I get some better photos, which should be later tonight. I know there are some nice ones out there.

Finally got some photos

So here are the photos of my R-6 and my Runde. These cues are roughly 20 years apart. I love that they are both maple, ebony and have blue and black veneers.

That is a beautiful old Schon. I had a Gilbert with similar veneers. The blue and ebony work really well. Thanks for posting.

Very nice Pat, I'll add mine when I get it back. Jim

I know that I posted this awhile ago, but I am still looking for R6 photos. With some recent posts about R series Schon's, it got me interested in the specs of other people's R6's.

Ktown D, nice R6. Very similar in veneers to srober40's. It looks as though you have 3 veneers though. I was always under the impression that R6's have 4 veneers.

Mine has 3 fat ones, must be one of the Szamboti forearms.

I own 2 Runde cues and i've owned a few others in the past and i've been a fan of Bob Runde's cues for a long time. I think his cues are outstanding for the price and playability. I really like the design of your Runde cue especially since 4 point cues are my favorite (so why do I own two 8 point cues?). I've never seen another Runde like yours.......

Same veneer combo as the other 3 veneer R-6. Can any of you guys look down the pin and see if the forearm grain around the pin is the same the grain on the forearm. Wondering if any of the R-6's with curly and birdseye forearms are cored at all.
