Scott Frost Puts Ball up inside the light!

That was awesome. I guess even if it had fallen back out of the light onto the table, it would still have been a foul:

8.5 Driven off the Table
A ball is considered driven off the table if it comes to rest other than on the playing surface but is not pocketed. A ball is also considered driven off the table if it would have been driven off the table except for striking an object such as a light fixture, piece of chalk or a player which causes it to return to the table.
A ball that contacts the top of the rail is not considered to have been driven off the table if it returns to the playing surface or enters a pocket.

I couldn't get it to load...I'm supposed to click the race to 3 (33 minutes) vid, right?

Just click the play button in the viewing window above the chat,it will start, you can slide the slider over to fast forward.

That is bad ass!!!!!!!!

hahaha.

I think if he hit the light hard enough and it drop it is fair lol:D

I would assume for this to be considered a foul the light would have to have been set at a predetermined height. And Scott went beyond that when he broke. Same principle as going beyond the rails/boundaries of the table and flying the CB of the table. But what if the light was considered too low. We've all seen the breaks where the CB hits the rails top and makes it's way back on the table. So what if it did fall back on it's own, I don't see how this could be ruled a foul. The light isn't a standard unit by any means and isn't regulated by any pool sanction. So, I am curious what an official would rule on this.

Dancin' Cueball....

I tried to get some shots of Scott breaking over the weekend. Just wasn't enough light to really stop the motion.

I'm going to try again with a strobe sometime....

He does go after it....

I think he is referring to the conversation with the Chat room. Sorry, I was posting like crazy and they were answering questions and comments from me.

It was crazy to watch the cue ball magic trick live.

That was some funny stuff. Thanks for posting the link.

I imagine the call would be a foul, just like if the cue ball jumped up on the rail and hit a piece of chalk and came back onto the table.
