Scott Gracio I want my cue or money back now.

Unfortunately, this is all too common in this industry. Some cuemakers see it as a privilege for us to give them our hard earned money. Thanks for making the community aware of this flake...

This is an amazing story. If I understand it correctly Mr. Gracio shipped the cue to the wrong address, that cue was then lost/stolen. Now Mr. Gracio is telling the original buyer too bad for you. Is that correct? If so I have to wonder WTF Mr.Gracio is thinking, it is his responsibility to make sure his product gets to the buyer. If it was lost/stolen along the way it is Mr.Gracio that should make the sacrifice to make the buyer whole by refunding his money or building him another cue. The AMAZING part to me is that Mr. Gracio seems willing to have his reputation tarnished over one single transaction.
He must not think very highly of himself to sell his reputation so cheaply. I was self employed my whole life and on several occasions I had to bite the bullet to make folks happy and keep my reputation spotless. It's something you have to do, call it the cost of being self employed. Your reputation is worth far more than one cue and perhaps Mr. Gracio will understand that someday...Good Luck to anyone that does business with Mr. Gracio, I am sure many are going to remember this incident for quite some time.

Sounds like a legit way to handle things

Not really....quite effective nonetheless though. When you have tried to resolve a matter many times over in a civil fashion sometimes this is what it takes. I had a similar situation and tried dozens of times to resolve it in a human fashion with no results, the first time I got "serious" it was over.

I remember this thread, I questioned if this Barry character ever existed back then...

Sam, I hope this works out for you in the end....

Despite what many feel, I believe it is important to post these issues on AZ for others to know what they might be getting themselves into when dealing with certain cuemakers. Along with my own crappy dealing with the cuemaker in my sig, there are several more that I will studiously avoid based on posts like this. At the very least you have served to let others know who to avoid....thank you for that.

I wish you luck getting your money back.

I appreciate the AZB community.thank you to all that have posted and all that will.I am going to keep up hope that Scott Gracio will contact me and make it right. My nature is to believe in people.

Looking over your posts, it seems you like to moan and do it a lot.

All of your posts but 2-3 are about Scott give me my cue, and then a new thread Scott, I'm serious.

You aren't doing anything but using the forum as a place to complain.

No posts about this game that we all post and love, about a specific player, an aiming system, anything but self serving to get your stick back.

Get in your car, drive to the guys house, if he wont give you comparable items, file a lawsuit and a police report while you are right there in town. How many people have to tell you this before you quit being a complainer. He has your stick, he has others sticks, it's an easy fix.

Oh, and the "I had no choice" but to post here, that's BS and you know it.

Can you imagine how Scott must feels, he is reading this forum and knows people that have shown him respect and friendship are reading this,he is afraid to answer me he may be trying to think up an excuse for himself he is mad and frighten at the same time mad at himself and frighten of what people must think of him.You see he will remember this for a long time. Even though he will say it doesn't matter somewhere in his life this is going to really bother him. So I am not mad I am sad for him.and sort of feel bad that I brought this to light but had no choice because if he got away with it once it would be easier next time and the time after and what if he did it to someone who save up for a couple of years or who has a wife that is not as understanding as mine.that is one of the reasons that it took me so long to seek him out not that I was patient.

I was being sarcastic with Lickmycrack and not the idea of hostile confrontations like stated above. I mean if you want felony assault charges for 600 bucks by all means knock yourself out

I am giving Scott the chance to make it right and everybody else the warning if he doesn't so that he won't use this forum to sell cues. I won't drive 1500 miles to collect 680.00. My hope is that this will stop other cue makers who may be willing to trade their good name for a few dollars won't. So if you have a horse in this race come out with it get to the finish line.are sticking up for Scott do you know him should I stop the thread you tell me.

Why do you care if he warns the members here? I for one am glad to have this information. Am I missing something?

Lots of guys have used AZ's tendency to go negative as a way to extort people into doing what they want. Vendor member character assassinations are sometimes warranted and sometimes not. I hope that in Scott's case, its not because what I've seen of his cues is pretty nice.

Good luck with your problem.

Kevin

Well I missed the other thread so I'm happy to see this one, I don't think its to bad to complain when someone has F^%$ed you!, like Scott has the OP. Now I hope you don't own a cue from Scott as I see his reputation and the values of his cues sinking. But if you do then I can understand frustrating post. Anyway hope you have a good day.

P.S. Scott should have answered him long ago and the OP may not have started this new thread.

For my Russian friend keep you head down an your body still, contact the object ball at the furthest place from target, and the cue ball with the closest point, an object ball will most likely not though with spin with a 7 diamond stroke if the balls are reasonably clean,if playing straight pool keep your options open. Nine ball try to play pose to and from a ball and stay the course although I much prefer old school rule with roll outs. When play one pocket think, fire power is important as long as that one shot will not certainly cost you the game. And remember mistakes happen put them behind you.and one thing a player told me is you only get one chance to execute the correctly so make sure all things line up.but most important enjoy getting it on if not pull-up.

That's the exact problem. YOU don't want to do anything about it, except complain and continually post about this.

This is a pool forum, we talk about pool, we talk about players, we talk about tournaments, shots. You've used it to beat a horse to death. He hasn't made it right on post 30, why all the sudden will he have an epiphany and decide to make it right on post 31?

Let it alone unless you are going to do something besides complain.

Take the amtrak out there, probably cost around $150 and you'll have around 30 hours to contemplate what you will say or do to him, problem solved.

Oh, is that how it works? If Scott would have answered him, no new thread.

Well Scott isn't answering this thread, so does that mean another new thread?

For some reason, I'm envisioning the OP starting a post about a person at a league 10 years ago who didn't have a quarter on him to split the game, so asked OP to float him that one quarter so he didn't have to break up the rhythm of match and he posts here that he wants that .25 back.

Hey,guy has right to write whatever he wants to as long as it isn't against the forum rules. Also,it is knowledgeable to know about guys and cuemakers who should be avoid doing buiness with.
If you don't have anything better to do in your life that's your problem and if you don't like this thread go find another one.

You're way off base and if you don't like this forum to be used as a platform for complaining you should start by taking a long look in the mirror.

Right now this is his best form of action short of spending 600 bucks to maybe...possibly...get it back in person. Especially since the cue maker still actively uses this forum for profit.

He'll go through far more trouble than its worth being anymore proactive and judging by the lack of response the cue maker is well aware of this.

I 100% back this guy for bringing this issue to the forefront for as long as the debt goes unresolved.

At least by keeping it fresh it may help someone a month, year or 5 years down the road from making the same mistake by doing business with a potential or alleged thief.

He is talking about something pool related. He's talking about a scumbag cue maker that is preying on AZ forum members.

I've been around here a long time. I'd like to see Gracio permanently banned. What Samdech has done is a public service.

If you are so offended by this thread go read something else. It's just that simple.
