Fact or Fiction:Scotty gets his thrills allowing his pet snake 2 bite him!

p.s. this is no joke..I've heard this before by 2 different people..:eek:

You may want to save these sorts of questions for a time when the board is more familiar with you. Asking within your first 15 posts is Scotty Townsend lets his snake bite him makes you look like you are trolling for humorous responses..

I do know that he swims with crocodiles side by side. I also know that he learned cue ball control with the help of a Toad with long tongue.:cool:

Your post just goes to show that indeed, no good deed goes unpunished! Instead of flaming you for an asinine post, as is Russ' wont, he chose instead to give a helpful suggestion to a new poster. And this is how you respond??!

I never heard this before, but I am one of the biggest Scotty T fans on the planet and nothing he does would surprise me. He is an incredibly funny character and one hell of a player.
 
I am sorry i keep my mouth shut often, but........ i get tired of russ blasting others often when he in reality knows nothing about pool. This justified by some of his "top players can run 6 racks at will" lol i mean really what the heck is that

Kidding aside, Scotty getting to the semis against Johnny at the world 9-ball back in the early 90's was the only time I saw him shoot. The man has a marvelous stroke.

If he gets that irate after a pretty friendly post from Russ I'd have to say he won't last long here! As for calling Russ & VIP obnoxious? Sure, Russ can be a little abrasive sometimes but not obnoxious. And VIP? Never!!

Actually russ was being nice about it, he just threw out the advice as something for your information, you were the one who started off by being rude to them which is where this whole thread went wild, you could have brushed his comment off as nothing and continued on yet you felt compelled to fire back with sarcasm and disrespect for someone who was just trying to be helpful.

Get over yourself and be a little humble, it gets you farther than being an a$$ about it.

Heh heh.. The first iteration of my response was fairly harsh... I went back and read it, and changed it to some friendly advice just in case the poster was serious and well intentioned..

Dunno if he was serious, but he does seem to have a temper...:D :D

He probably would have hunted me down and shot me if he saw my first response..
