Scruggs cue I picked up

I just got this cue a couple of weeks ago. I really like the simple design and the hit of the cue. I am not crazy about the wrap though. It is a nice wrap, just not for this cue IMO. Any suggestions for a new wrap: What might look nice and also who have you had success with. I don't know what the cue had on it originally. I was thinking some smooth brown leather or a linen wrap either brown with black or brown with white. What do you guys think?

I agree with Tank and JCIN, I think that cue is crying for classic green and white cortland linen. I do have a nice black Kangaroo wrap that I got from the HitMan but it does not look like I am going to use it any time soon. If you want the wrap just PM me your address and I will give it to you for free.

I would send it to Tim and Mike at the shop and let them do it. I say it is always best to go to the guys who made it. Just my .02.

Here is the wrap I had put on. It was done by a cuemaker in Roy, Utah. I think it looks good. I didn't want to have to mail it too bad, and I was working near him so he did it for me a couple of weeks ago. What do you guys think.

I like the classic Hoppe design, and the new wrap - fantastic in my eyes. :thumbup:
I don´t like it if the wrap pops out in another colour.
I like it more when it works with the same colour as the cue wood,
so that looks realy great in my eyes, congrats. :grin:

I say.. go with the Hair-On cow wrap. Not only is it unique, but it's great if you have sweaty hands!
