Yes, it's Greg Howard - formerly "Howard the Dick" - he posts here. He's a totally legitimate seller, a very good guy. Greg is a horse trader and would tell you whatever you needed to know. Sometimes these cues are passed around from many hands and often Greg is selling for someone else. If you want to know something, e-mail him your phone number, but do it fast before he leaves for Valley Forge.

I read this kind of crap and it just about sends me over the edge. This was over a year ago. He ended up stiffing Chady and seems to relish in his own smartass remarks in doing so.

Really makes me shake my head. Always seemed like a ok guy in person. Guess I'm a poor judge of character.
 
I was planning on taking a short trip to DCC 6 months ago but I figured that the flight ticket is around $1000. Besides, what am I going to do ? pointing a gun at his head? Sometimes bad guys won't get punished and this is the case.

Chady,

In my opinion, the money is secondary at this point. This is a matter of principal.

Even if it created an economic deficit, I would sue him in small claims court plus travel expenses and interest for the maxcimum allowable in his state. Then I would pay a sheriff to serve it. Then I would garnish his wages. I would frame a color copy of each check that came in and mount it on a plaque, and keep it on my wall next to my pool table.

Then I would laugh my ass off.

if the circumstances of this deal fall under the right laws for that state you could be awarded triple damages capped at the max award allowed for small claims. if that's the case, the principle is secondary! ;) :D

How far have you gotten with getting your money back? (Outside of posting on the forums) Have you gotten your police report yet? Talked to the bank?
I'm sorry you got hosed on this deal from a year ago. I hope everything works out for you.

This really suck chady...hope the cue came back to you...also who ever bought the cue has to return it to you I think...because it's consider stolen good. I'm in a similar situation and hoping that time will resolve it.
