Seaglass505 - Stop The Insanity, Please

Lol!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:scratchhead:

Good day for a good laugh................

Everywhere I look-----Ebay, Facebook, and AZbilliards----
-tired of seeing the 30 year old $2,000 David Howard
and the Custom Schmelke break cue.

If these cues were good deals you'd think someone would of snatched them up.:p
Feels like I've seen these cues for sale for months now and they keep getting bumped up.

Everyday on some sites.

Brian is absolutely right. I have two threads (Centennial balls for sale & Cue For Trade) and both remained on the front page less than a hour and within 5 hours,
both threads were back on page 5 and I have not bumped these threads to the front page either but I sure have been tempted to do it, especially when you see
someone with a zillion threads for cues that could be in a single thread, especially when you consider the type cues he has for sale.

We agree on something, yeah. Enjoy your R cue coming.
I had the pleasure of seeing and playing with one of his cues -
Very boti-esque cue the other day- looked like great work. Almost bought it cause the price was right but I need another cue like I need a hole in the head. Plus I am just not a fan of SS joints - I put his traditional work though right up there is Steve klein. Both will have a big name over the years.

Im not entirely sure how it works these days but recently, within a week or so, I added pictures to a thread about 46 or 47 hours after the last post and it said you must wait 1 hour 19 minutes 37 seconds or something like that before posting again. I have also seen a lot of threads brought back to the top by the OP within 24 hours or sometimes a lot less so there is definitely a difference in accounts, memberships, thread listings, titles or something.

Dude, you have a serious problem. I'm from Jamaica West indies beside having my lovely wife' I'm a loner and I do not have no buddies so go get ahold of yourself if you're lonely and looking for attention go to the toy store and buy yourself a dildo. I've had enough of you now I've been watching you try to tarnish my name all this time and I have not gave you the minute of the day. I have been real tough skinned when it comes to you, now I'm overwhelmed with you. I don't know you and I have done nothing to you so avoid me once again or if you have a problem with me let's settle this like grown people we can meet outside of the forums in person.
I don't know Seaglass505 never seen or heard of the guy so pls don't tag me..
My itraders speaks for me, that's what I'm about to get deals going.

# I would like to apologize to the Az community for flipping out like this, its not really who I am but a beautiful person and can be forced to do ugly things at times like what Prewarhater just forced me to do..

Prewarhater you are a sore wrotten hater that does not like to see anyone gets ahead, I wonder if you know that I'm a brother with black skin! Hmmm probably that's why you trying to give me a hard time without being successful?
I don't care about your .02 if its not going into my PayPal account and as far as I've seen with you I would not want your money. Because not all money is good, I've seen you looking for a Bluegrass and I made sure that I don't make the mistake to offer my cue to you because you are bad business I don't need your money and I have rejected everyone that sent me your link looking for a Bluegrass.
Pls avoid me, I don't care for you. Neither am I stopping your daily bread!!!

I stand by what I said. Add your name to the list of flippers that have many many threads constantly on the first page. Deny it? Not true? My other point with you was when you posted a sub$600 cue for "private sale". I simply pointed out how the community as a whole feels about that. My point was supported by a thread just a few days later by the "community" with an over-whellming response. Not a bushka - post a price.

You and seaglass attacked me personally for pointing that out. Classy!

My main beef with flippers like you two is that you are not part of the community. You contribute nothing anywhere else on the forum and use it only for your personal gain, yet will buy a Cue from the community and list it a day later to the same community for 50% more.

Sorry, I am very protective of the community and try to support it as
Much as I can.
I won't even respond to the race card comment and you should be ashamed of your self.

I will give you this- I will stay away from your threads from
Now on. Fair?

My $.02 as a dealer or "flipper", which I could care less if I fall in that realm...

I'm 34 and been playing pool since I was 8. I'm no high level player like I'd love to be as I'm just not that talented and don't have the time to be playing at a room. I also run tournaments here locally weekly. I kind of hit all aspects of the industry except making the cues. I'd love to some day but that's not very realistic right now.

However, I love the game and I have "cue disease" so I turned it into a side business. I'm currently working on my own professional website as well. More recently, I've invested in a midamerica lathe and do my own "lighter" work like tips, ferrules, etc. I haven't really "profited" anything, I reinvest into buying more cues.

I try and do EVERY deal with INTEGRITY and I make sure ALL parties are not just satisfied but happy and that they'd buy from me again. My career is in outside sales with a very large tech company selling to federal and state government agencies so I'm very well versed with how to maintain relationships and gain repeat business. I try and find nice cues to try myself, and sell locally, online, and on different pages like my own business Facebook page. Facebook.com/billiardbills (shameless plug, lol).

I try very hard to keep inventory fresh and have really aggressively priced quality products. I put in as much time in my side business as I do my career. I'm fortunate enough to work from my home office a lot of the time. Everyday I'm striving to learn more and create more relationships to the point that some day I can leave the corporate world and support my family with my own business.

Regarding posts, I've tried both ways of posting with success and failure and I'm still learning. However, sometimes both single and multiple have their disadvantages and benefits. If I've got a bigger cue or a special cue it might go on it's own. However I try to group them in a few relative posts like "4 pointers" or "Merry Widows" and "Sneakies". Sometimes by value, it depends on the mix of my product. I typically have 15-30 cues for sale at any given time so it all depends.

Regarding the term "flipper", I don't really care if I'm called a flipper. But please know that I'm striving to "learn and earn" respect from others and on the other hand help the guys who don't know much about pool in general, cues, or the the business relative to it. I have a 100% rating in every venue I've used and sold well over 100 cues in the last 6 months at very good deals to appreciating folks and many of them come back to me for more before anyone else.

I've also made some great friends here and elsewhere like Erajcustom which I met while in NYC last Friday. We had a great time shooting at Amsterdam Billiards (at $25 per hour) and hanging out with our wives. Just don't forget to pack jeans when going out in NYC (my dumbass forgot them and only had shorts). Typical in Florida, but not in Manhattan, lol. BTW- 5 hours and lots of drinks later my tab was $275, lol.

Anyhow, that's why I do this and if in your opinion I'm not doing it right, feel free to let me know via PM, text, email or a phone call. I'm very much open to discussing more successful practices and strategies as well as constructive criticism.

Play Well!

You are a straight up hater and a productive anchor, you doing a fine job. I cut anchors loose and bring propellers along with me. You obviously have a problem with me because I've seen multiple well known members on here in the past and recently bumped 3 & 4 threads one space of the next and also list their cues and mark it as private sale. But no its on Erajcustom89 IMA call him out. I have never once bumped 3 or 4 threads right after the other because it makes no sense because you will be on the front page for that hour or however long they stay before other threads are posted then you are done for the day. What I do is bump 1 thread each per every 4 or so hours so my name is on the board advertising frequent.
And no one follows the forum rules as I've seen these top notch guys that been on this forum for years disobey the rules day by day. They for things such as:

* Have their friends bump threads
* list unrelated posting in the wanted/ for sale section
* list a cue without a price requesting pm for pricing
* Comment on a thread thats in the wanted/for sale section that does not belong there
* Cue makers over bump threads advertising their product.
And the list goes on. So why you picking on me? As if I care.
I joined this site on last year of June, 2013 a buddy of mines introduced me to this site. I have today 103 positive Itrader feedbacks not to mention the the guys that thought its not important to leave one and didn't left me any. I have never deceived a member on here or con a one out of their money. I just happen to love the game of pool and a lot of people know so I started dealing cues and a hobby. Not a part time or full time job a hobby! I work for a living real hard too!
Once more I don't care if you do as much as read my threads because I will not sell you Jack even if you a paying 3 times my asking price, I don't want to have anything to do with you as you are looking for trouble and I don't need that crap!!!
Get a life dude and stop hating....

HERE'S A SUGGESTION:

ANY THREAD, INCLUDING THIS ONE, THAT HAS NOTHING FOR SALE OR ATTEMPTING TO PURCHASE GETS IMMEDIATELY EITHER DELETED OR MOVED TO ANOTHER SECTION!

EVERY TIME SOMEONE RESPONDS TO THREADS LIKE THIS, INCLUDING ME NOW, TAKES PRECIOUS FRONT PAGE SPACE AWAY FROM THOSE WHO ARE FOLLOWING THE FORUM RULES.

IVE CONTACTED THE MOD'S AND IT'S FALLEN ON DEAF EARS AND THEY REFUSE TO ENFORCE THEIR OWN FORUM RULES. SO WE NEED TO DO OUR PART

YOU GOT AN ISSUE??? POST IT IN THE MAIN FORUM SECTION

YES I'M YELLING  :)

Flipper

I really don't have a dog in this "fight" i am small potato's compared to the number of deals
some have done. never the less I have met Erajcustom89 on one of the coldest days of the year to do a deal also just finished up a deal with Billiardbills both stand up guys.
as are many others.
Flippers?
I don't know what the problem is. We have people flipping houses, cars, art, etc we even have reality shows about Flipping houses. Pawn Stars is all about flipping
(yes these are TV shows) but my point is made.
The public determines what the market is, its how business is done.
If someone can make a profit more power to them as long as they deal in a honest way.
McP

I don't care how many threads someone puts on, just don't keep bumping them. Every 48 hours is the rule, and put a price on it.Thanks Little Fats

I'll back Eraj up on this as well. I've seen Prewar hating on other threads like an old man shaking his fists at you for walking on his grass.

1. Erajcustoms89 does lots of good deals with CLEAN cues, and gets no customer complaints. He's given me feedback and even assisted with deals I make with other people on AZ, just to be helpful.

AND...He posts a lot of bad@ss cues! Not just Ben Greenes over and over....

That's what we need on AZ.

This guy has mental problems...

Did I mention you were a dick yet?!?

Guys, here are some common sense rules that are used on other forums I frequent and they work quite well.

1. Threads do not get "bumped". They always stay in the order that they are posted up.

2. No useless chit chat in the threads. Everything except, "I'll take it" needs to be by PM or email only.

3. No shitting on other peoples FS threads. If you don't like it or the price just move on. One warning only, second time gets you a vacation.

4. You are not allowed to have more than ONE thread. All items for sale must be listed in one thread.

5. All threads must have all pertinent info listed or they get closed. ie - Pictures of the actual item for sale, shipping info and payment info.

6. You can not list up the same item again for 2 weeks. The old thread must be closed prior to starting another.

7. You must have a paid membership to participate in the FS/Wanted sections of the Forum.

There are probably others that I am forgetting, but you get the idea.

Have a great day,

Russ...
