Searing Box Cue: My Daily Player

I took a little break from studying for my exams and 'photoshopped' (actually it isn't photoshop) that photograph and these are that I cam up with. I wanted to give it a little bit older look, as if it was from the early '80s, maybe :)

Here's all is blunt with the exception of him, the cue and the cue ball.

And just some aura coming from the cue giving it to its user :)

I hope you like them :)

The pictures turned out great, but the cue in person is even more spectacular. Definitely one of my favorite cues ever.

Keep in touch,
Jimmy

This is a WOWOW , thanks for the sharing Will, I wish my number is up:), btw, you should also show off the pix of your cue room;)

Will

Just made a visit to the gallery for the first time in what feels like weeks.
As I looked around I found this thread and I can only say - WOW!
That is a beauty of a cue.
I have never seen rings as pretty as those rings.
Love the whole design on this one and hope to see it in person one day.

Thanks for sharing the pictures.

Hey Will,
The cue is beautiful..
Let me tell everyone it is even nicer in person..
The cue fits in well with a beautiful house and some super cars.
Look foward seeing you in Santa Fa..
Best,
Ken Kerner

Hello Will,

I watched as Dennis built this cue and as it started to unfold it became more amd more breath taking. The detail and precision are amazing. The design, wood and material combinations and inlay sizing are perfect.

When looking at the cue in person it really makes a person shake their head and say " Searing keep's raising the bar".

A good picture of the joint caps would be nice to show the detail in the mitered veneered boxes on top of the caps.

When Dennis sprayed the cue......my first thought was..Gee, I sure wish that were my cue and my second thought was, Gee, I sure wish that were my cue......

This cue is my favorite Searing to date.

Will, you are the man!

Until that time,
Scott

mitered veneers

Congratulations and thank you for sharing these pics of a real beauty.
In my opinion no other detail shows off precision better than perfectly
mitered veneers in the windows of a cues buttsleeve.
Do you have another closeup of them?

Anyone can see why Nick won. Dennis was playing with the wrong hand.

Nick shoots good....but he also shoots lucky.

I think Dennis took it easy on Nick. Which was cool under the circumstances.:D

Ken,

Thanks for the nice comments. It takes of special meaning when you say such kind words, with me knowing some of the world class cues that are (or have been) in your hands.

See you in Santa Fe.

Will

Thanks!

Will,

I feel like I should repeat what others have already said about the cue and it's beautiness but instead I'd like to shed light on something else, what hopefully others have noticed as well: the cue looks great on your pictures but it looks like any other brilliant and super sweet cue that we see here time by time again. BUT when I see the cue in Nick's hands it just amazes me, on that very picture it all 'comes through', as if I am there standing a few feet away from the cue. And on that very picture it definitely appears to be The Most Beuatiful Cue in the world, the 'cueist' cue.
This is like an illustration of a story-book for cue enthuiast children :)

Okay, I have arrived to a point where I lack all words but I thought I'll give it a try.

Yours,
David

David,

Thanks for your thoughtful comments, they are much appreciated.

Look in the rest of the pictures and try to pick out some of the onlookers.

Just spotted a couple of cueaddicts watching Nick and Dennis pocket balls. :)

Will, truly spectacular Searing cue...those miter cuts are so tight that it's sick. And a sincere thank you for all the hospitality you showed everyone during the ICCS. That was a very fun and relaxing trip !!

Yeah. Those former World Champions like people to lay down for them.
