seeing the searing and alan vo threads

It takes so much time to build a reputation of excellence I just don't understand how someone could throw it all away. If you are too busy get the appropriate processes in place to maintain your service or don't take on more than you can handle. Always under promise if necessary and over deliver. It is fairly simple if you are dealing with something you love and not doing it just for dollar bills.

I've only had one issue with a warped cue and it was resolved with the usual drama. The seller was later outed years later for screwing people over. We've had a pretty long list of deadbeats here but I managed to avoid most. I haven't had very many bad deals but most have been outside of AZ and no downright fraud that I know of.

He is up toward the top for sure, especially with his little raffle-con

I actually received my raffle cue from him. I'm sure I was one of the few. It was one of the very early ones.

I ordered another cue from him around the same time. I talked to him on the phone once and he was such an ass that we had a pretty good blow up. I told him I wanted a refund and got my money back after a few more choice word exchanges. All in all I got away from him unscathed, and I feel very fortunate to have done so.

I've had many excellent transactions. A couple that were a little hairy but nothing that I'm seething over. I think there are far more positive transactions than negative, but the great deals aren't reported with the same frequency.

Closest I've come was a shaft purchase that wasn't the tpi I required. I sent it back and the dude pulled the untouchable move: he died!

Never did get my money back, but I am ok with that. Rip, sir.

around with Friends

The guy on the left looks rather Shady. But you know how these Biker types are anyway.

I'd probably go for a ride with him any day. But then you know me, shadier than a 100 yr old Elm Tree.

Are you sure he didn't fake his own death, swim from Vietnam to Melbourne, and change
his name to Vince Adams...which is Aboriginal for alanvo

Jforney got me when I traded him a new predator shaft for a cue. A month after that no cue. A hundred ignored emails and calls later I get the shaft back saying it didnt fit his cue. Miracilously the new shaft that didnt get used came back all blued up and beat to hell. He swore he never played with it and he sent me the right shaft back. I feel pretty lucky though cause after that he went on a bender here screwing people left and right.

rip off

I don't remember the guys name - he had stolen Itzel's identity at one time. (found out later) He almost got me for 2 cues worth over four grand. I had them packaged and ready to ship. Matter of fact - they were on the scale at UPS getting weighed and I was getting ready to pay with my card for next day shipping. I don't know why - but my friend Rich (aka know it all or the Skunk) called me to ask what I was doing. I told him that I was shipping 2 cues out to a guy in Conway, S.C. He told me to hold on for a minute and not send them. Then he told me to get on AZB Main Forum because there was a scammer. He then read the address, phone number and name of the person on the shipping label back to me from the thread!!! Devine intervention where God's instrument was a man they call, "The Skunk!" LOL. I was seconds away from losing over $4,000. Thank you God - and thank you Rich Fordunski. Skunks really get a bad rap - it seems like they are wonderful animals...

me...3 freaking time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 1st was ALAN VO!!!! 2nd was that DLW681 kid for $160!!! 3rd time a charm by Ronald Roland guy from superior cue!!!!!!!!!! I strike 3 so crossing my finger and it will be no more

Transactions.

I guess I am one of the lucky ones. Ive done a few transactions here, and even send some higher end cues over seas as well as bought some higher end cues, and everything has gone without a hitch.

i'm very disappointed to hear that people are afraid to leave truthfully bad transaction info on i trader. kind of defeats the purpose and renders it useless.

In the past the moderators have stepped in to settle retaliatory negatives, but there is no guarantee they will, and it's subjective at best.
The path of least resistance seems to be no feedback at all if things are settled behind the scenes.
The moderators could fix the problem but they don't.
One day somebody's going to realize that the success of AZ is directly tied into the health of the Wanted / For Sale.
