Been trying to buy a cue on here for 3 days now.... I have money in my pocket.... I'm trying to put it in your pocket.... It would be real nice if price was included on thread title... But that's asking way too much... Having your asking price inside your thread will suffice... tx

Well..that us what you're looking for and how much you want to spend and I'm sure you get a lot of responses. I have a few cues listed so let me know if any interest you.

BR,
Duc.

Agree with both sides.

I agree with both sides, potential seller and buyer respectively, and can certainly relate to the OP that even a ballbark, "asking range" with a "B/O" or MSRP would be great.

I personally, have honestly skipped over some really gorgeous cues and interesting posts, later to find out it was definitely in my price range or at the least, gather the add'tl cash or other, if it was something I couldn't pass up on.

It's easier for a buyer to see a picture of something they like and take action than to post a dollar amount out there and play PM or thread tag to see if something could interest them plus be in their price range.

I don't know. Like my title says, I "agree with both sides" and a shoutout to this post and kudos to Duc, who has a great seller rep., and is very communicative, I've learned.

Your request to have the price in the subject line is too much to ask for most. And having it "always" in the thread at all is something that most people selling higher end cues will not do. This isn't done to make life harder on you, but to protect the buyer when/if he decides to sell the cue. I don't see how sending a PM to the seller is a hardship at all. If it's really too much for you to go through, then create a thread with the type of cue(s) you want, and the price range you want it in. Believe me, the sellers will find you very quickly.

I have 300-500 to find an entry level cue... Sneaky pete or plain jane wrapless.... Doesn't have to be brand new...

I really like the look of coco/maple combo....

I've never owned a custom cue... Played with an original w2w predator sneaky pete for about 10 years... I don't need anything fancy, just a solid player.... An extra ld shaft with cue would be sweet but not a necessity... Or even a low deflection hit similar to an ld since I'm coming from an og predaor... Would make for a smooth transition...

Tx everyone for quick response to this thread...

Real sales professionals know most people make emotional buying decisions.

What's the point of listing a price if you're not sold on something and won't pay for it anyway?

Guarantee you'd put up more than 3-500 if there was something you really wanted :D

Personally, I won't buy ANYTHING if I don't see a price with the ad.
If I have to ask, I can't afford it.

PM sent....

As for a cue for sale listing, I believe that the asking price should always be posted. The idea that a person who has a cue for sale does not know what he wants for it is ridiculous.

The only caveat that I would make for that is for high end, collector cues whose prices should be kept private.

If you are looking for something within a certain price range, post your interest, and you will have tons of cues made available to you.

I have always had a policy of posting prices with the cues that I offer, and will continue to do so in the future.

I don't mind at all seeing higher end cues listed with no prices, just as long as the seller has a price ready to quote if you send a PM. I totally understand not wanting to disclose the pricing publicly on some of these cues.

What I don't really care for is when a seller is just looking for offers. I think everyone has a price in mind, if you don't then maybe you should post in the gallery and ask for a value first. I admit there have been times when I inquired about a price or a trade value, and have been frustrated when I get the 'make an offer' line in return.

Just my opinion....

From a dealers perspective, I could post the retail msrp with my cues..and people would say they could get that price anywhere. So, I would have to leave it up to the buyer to PM me anyway to see if that were the best price.
We as dealers cannot post a price, print a price or in any way publish a price that is lower than the manufacturers advertised price, or commonly MAP.
So, unless you want to pay the full list price, you might want to PM the seller.

We don't hide the price... there might be an inquire on BIG cues..

$300-$500 is what a shaft cost on cues without a price posted! Dale Perry makes a great cue in this range, you can find his cues on eBay and they are new! Good luck on your search...
