For a guy who claims to be the end all of end all dealers, maybe you comprehend as well as you type. Cue hits solid, lets see; as in a solid hitting cue, no buzzes, no tinks, etc... Cues hitting solid make a hell of a lot more sense than cues hitting like a ton, or a truck as you like to put it. Just about mint is exactly as its stated since mint/non-mint/close to mint are all terms used in industry to describe items. Not just the pool industry either, but then again, you knew that right? Yeah.. thats what I thought.

You kept this cue in great shape Si, the butt is still in mint shape. I am pretty sure the shafts were cleaned, but they are also in great shape, so if they weren't cleaned that wouldn't surprise me either. It's like the cue we got from Sanjay, but I know he uses a P-shaft, so his shafts were truly mint.

as i stated it was not the cue your were implying and i was told by the owner that there was another similar. and confirmed by barry. and this cue was not handled by andy gilbert!or refinished by him no beef and apology acceptedclassiccues said:

look specifically at the grain lines in the maple where it makes a flattened out, oblong oval shape, then see the grain wave above that, and the two bird's eyes right there. if you look at the attached forearm scan, you should see the same exact grain pattern above the point. hard to fade that not being the same cue !!

then i have made a mistake it was represented to me as i sold it, and i confirmed it with barry and he made identical cues. i can only go by what the privious owner has told me. the cue was in new condition ! I did not put unchalked but it did have no blue grain on the shafts and no sign of play. my ratings go from top to bottom unchalked-1 from the maker / new- no signs of play-2/ excellent -can tell it has a few hrs on it-3 /light play - minor bluing butt no dings-4/restored -to excellent - 5/ played- minor ding and bluing/vintage -6/ all others will not hit the site except mike masseys cue played hard. since I have a rating system you 2 dealers try to attack me . call thing as they are, not buyer take your chances. it makes it so easy for the buyer to know what they are getting! it makes it easy for the buyercueaddicts said:
