Selling pool Tables

Hollywood billiards is selling there pools tables. They are Crown ones and twos if your interested call Azzie 323-465-0115 ex:104:wink:
 
Just to make this NEWS worthy instead of just a for sale thread that should really be posted in the For Sale section,with pics & price.
Here are a few questions
Are they getting new ones?
Will they be bar boxes? Diamond I would hope.
Are they not going to have as many when they reopen?
Is it no longer going to be a Pool Hall??
Give us the NEWS Please!:thumbup:

Wow- How crazy is that? Recover all your tables in red cloth before a big tournament and then sell them a month or two later. WTF?

That's called "The Red Clearance Sale". :p (Ok, ok, I know that was bad. :o ).

Seriously, this is a damn shame -- so many nice / landmark rooms going out because of the times. :(

looks like Jeff is going to retire, i'm not suprised. I hope he enjoys his retirement he is a cool guy that is very smart and likes to travel so he will have pleanty to do. There is a clearly a market for a pool room in that area but the way the economy is right now, it would take a lot of stones to get in the mix and open one. More than I have.

Wow, really sad news. Both the old HB and this HB were great halls. Jeff hung in there for a long time. I think he was getting burned out a bit and started pissing off the locals. I have had some great some great times there watching the Swanee and hanging with friend. RIP HB and good luck Jeff.

If anyone buys one of the tables, get #13! It's the best.

The word I got was that only 8 tables of 30 are being sold.

They are just remodeling for a couple months. It's still going to be a pool room. They are selling a few tables on the 2nd floor. They are asking $2,000 each. big pockets.

Smart move - the 2nd floor wasn't all that condusive to serious pool - they're probably clearing out one side of it. Now they'll be able to have private parties up there.

2K is pricey for the upstairs tables. They aren't in great shape. The ones downstairs are really nice.
