Two things:
1. Will there be a mini tournament before the main event? Hope so.

2. Are they charging at the door to view this tournament?

Thanks

They usually don't charge for the seating is scattered about.

There will be no charge for viewing the tournament either on the web via http://www.seminoleprotour.com or in person at Hollywood Billiards.

Also, there is no "official" mini tournaments the night before. Though most players will be there the night before and run their own things.

I've a couple of questions:

1) There is no mention of late registration. So assuming there is room is there no late fee for signing up at the door?

2) I didn't see it mentioned in the rules but my understanding is this event is being played with Texas Express rules, is that correct? (Essentially it is 9 ball rules?)

Regarding the following rules for fouls:

5.) FOULS- When a player shoots, no ball can be moved during the shot or it is a foul. If a player moves or touches a ball before they shoot, they must give the other player the option of leaving the ball in its new location or move the ball back to where it was. If the player moves any ball back before they give their opponent the option, it will be considered a foul. Any ball that jumps off the table is ruled to be a foul. Should a player move two or more balls on one rack, the game will be ruled a loss. Should a player’s shirt touch a ball when shooting, without moving the ball, it will not be deemed a foul.

This rule seems to indicate that it is cue ball fouls only (i.e. player in chair can have the OB replaced to original position). Yet it also says in the first sentence that no ball can be moved or it is a foul. So this leaves me a little confused. Either it is not really a foul, or it is a foul and the other player takes over the table but has the option of replacing the ball to its original spot, or it is a foul but the fouling player gets to keep shooting and, if he replaces the ball without prior consent of his opponent it is another foul and he is now on two fouls.

Could you clarify this foul rule? Is it CB fouls only or all ball fouls? I'm probably over-analyzing it as per usual. :grin-square:

Thanks.
