Just got my order from Seyberts, and one of the items showed up damaged. I called them, and they are sending me a replacement now. They have the best prices I've found online, and their customer service is great. Highly recommended!

I have been a customer of and also wholesaled videos to them. I have to say they are a very reputable company and a pleasure to deal.

Yep

I have never heard a bad report about Seyberts.

The key is not when everything goes right, but what does a vendor do when they have a problem, and how they handle it.

Seyberts is a class act. Its just good business.

If everyone in the industry conducted themselves the same as Seyberts, the compaints posted here wouldn't happen.

I ordered a case from them this past year and when I opened the box the case was marred (not from shipping)...they apologized and swapped out for another. Ordered a piloted shaft from them recently and when I opened the box it was flat faced not piloted. Contacted Seyberts and they said they didn't have any piloted shafts of that make and that a flat faced should work. I said well since it's not for me and the person for who it was intended for specifically wanted a piloted shaft this was not going to work...it was returned for a refund.

Today I ordered a custom cue through them...I'll keep you posted.

Seems like you have good service but if everytime you buy something you have to have it refunded, exchanged....its not any better. Where is the quality control!?

They will do everything to make it right. They like keeping their customers. Worse case is your get you money back. Maybe they should have said they were sending a flat face shaft instead of piloted but regardless they aim to please. What custom did you get from them.

Problems are minimal with Seybert's.

Yep, they're awesome. Ordered from them numerous times, have had a few occasions to make returns (not through any fault of theirs, just decided it wasn't going to work for me once I had it in hand) and never an issue. Always friendly and helpful!

My sentiments exactly...especially with the shaft. An email or call to say "not in stock will a non-piloted shaft suffice"?

Hopefully this third transaction will go off without a hitch.

"...for WHOM it was intended __ specifically wanted..."

seyberts has been my go to for years

recent started with Nielsen too, both are great

being in Canada, if some of the other online retailers helped out with an incentive or two or cheaper shipping I'd frequent more of em

manningcues with an apparent canadian background/affiliation doesn't do squat for us, par for the course i guess as many of our businesses serve the USA better than they do their own

In no way am I knocking Seybert's Supply. They have been great to me in the past, and they are responsive in their service departments.

I'm asking for advice on this thread because I didn't want to start a new one, so if it appears I'm hijacking, that's not my intention. Just wanting to get some help from you guys since this Seyberts thing got started. So here goes:

Bought a set of joint protectors from them in April after buying a Poison Bolt elsewhere. The joint protector on the butt side ripped in half last week (they are rubber) and the threaded half is jammed in the bullet joint, and I mean jammed good, and flush with the face of the joint. And it's not budging.

I emailed them and they replied with "send a picture and we will replace the protectors". I also emailed Predator with pictures in case it covers their warranty and they said "ship the cue to us and we'll take a look".

Who pays for this defective joint protector and the cost of getting my cue fixed? Me?
This happened under normal operation, I went to take the cue out of the case, twisted the JP, and......rrrrippp! No more pressure than it took to unscrew the last 100 times I did it.

Anyone have any pointers before I send this thing off to predator and have them look?

Thanks all,
Dogs

If you think the problem is from being defective or junk ask why you have to pay the the shipping. I don't mind paying for my mistakes....not some one else's. I really think Seyberts will be fair and use good reasonable judgement. Talk to Rick...get a feel for the outcome.

Thanks GC. Can you PM me info on how to get in touch with Rick?

It's going to cost upward of 50 bucks to ship this to Predator, and there's no telling if they are going to cover it under warranty. I may be getting charged to repair something due to the faulty JP.
