I was curious how many of you have ordered a Predator shaft from Seybert's and had them throw on a different tip? I was planning on ordering a new one and would want an Elkmaster installed. The only person I let do my tip work is Joe Blackburn and I must say I've become spoiled by his immaculate work, but how do the guys at Seybert's do? Thanks for any info!

Kj

KJ is the cuemaker there. He's good. Got a Predator for a McDaniels from him.
Everything was done well. The McDaniel matching collar, fit, roll and tip/performance.
Wasn't elkmaster, I think was a morri medium.
He is really smart too. A Mechanical/Electical Engineer sorta guy...

I've ordered 2 314 shafts from them and had them install Moori mediums on both. They did a great install job. Everything was clean and neat and it looked like they came from the Predator factory.

Seybert's Billiards is probably the largest supplier of pool equipment in the U.S. (maybe the world!) and they do A LOT of cue work, including tip work. I have not heard anything negative about their finished products. AND the time from order to delivery is pretty quick!

Tips....

Being local and having them available to change out tips, etc I can say without hesitation they do a great job and are very maticulate with every detail. I have used them for years and never had a problem.

I've ordered a few shafts from them, all with tip changes. Only one time did I have a small, almost unnoticeable scratch on the ferrule of a Z shaft. Z shaft ferrules are very soft and scratch fairly easily. Even still, I understood that this was the problem and was fully satisfied with the installs.

I've had KJ change tips and joints on probabley 5-10 shafts. All the work was done professionally and I don't have any complaints. No tips have come off either.

They do great work, have great products and offer great customer service, they are..............great!!

KJ has done a number of shafts for me (ring work and changing the threads to match different joint pins etc.) and his work is great. Don't hesitate to let him work on your new shaft......
