All kinds of sizes, but I'm going to Narrow it down a little to some of the most readily available ranges. So what's your preference?
Correct, at the tip. Taper & Shape (nickle, dime etc... all equal for the sake of this poll)10mm for less squirt and so I can see where I'm hitting the CB.
And I assume you mean tip diameter - my shaft has a conical taper, so it's only 10mm at the tip.

A standard, hexagonal, "#2 pencil" is cut to a hexagonal height of 1⁄4-inch (6 mm)Is that close to the size of a pencil?

That's about 6.35mm - my 9.5-10mm tip's about 3/8" diameter.A standard, hexagonal, "#2 pencil" is cut to a hexagonal height of 1⁄4-inch (6 mm)
This is the classic tradeoff: the smaller shaft requires a more accurate and deliberate stroke--more chance for stroke errors to "become manifest"I feel like I can do more with a thinner shaft but I’m more accurate if I keep it around 12.5 - 12.75.
