Might have to do with the fact you are a new user...I think there are additional rights that will be granted once I say...uhh, I mean: once your post count builds.

And I don't fall for the LD hype, so I can't vote, unless the choice 'standard shaft' is added!
 
i have stock shaft as an option. I'll paypal you a buck if you post poll. actually i won't. to much effort. but if you have time please post the poll.. thnak you
 
Stock shaft. Tried the 314 for awhile. Wasn't a huge difference, so just went back to stock. Easier then trying to keep a 314 for each different cue I may feel like using.

My option is not here....
...stock shaft...point it ( carom taper ) to 12mm to 12.25mm...
...voila, low deflection with strength...
..and no ivory in the ferrule
 
Mine's not here, either...Gulyassy SPTX, 30 inches, 12.75 mm, Kamui Black Soft, melamine ferrule...that extreme 20 inch pro taper is the nuts!
 
I have tried all the shafts you listed. I play Schon an the best for me is a 13mm. stock Schon shaft. The tip I use is Pool Dawg's milk dud. I have tried all the $15 to $30 tips they don't compare. I know to much information sorry. :smile:
 
I-3 with Moori Soft. 11.75mm for geometric precision in striking the cue ball. Excellent control. Coupled with Schon CX-06 for perfect balance and feel.
 
Since i played the first time with a Silvio Zugec/(Gloria Cues from Austria) i stay with it. His *usual* regular shafts have 12.5 and a pro-LD-shaft where the diameter is smaller (11.8 iirc).
I also let him built a 12.80 mm shaft with my specs-and it s also just great. Already wrote it several times- the shafts built by Silvio Zugec (Gloria Cues) and the shafts that are developed and built by Markus Kuhn aka Cuechanger are the best i played.

I can play with any shaft- important is where i have the personally best feeling. They re both regular shafts, non-laminated. LD will be *created* with a smaller ferrule and a bored hole. (by far not that big as predator or so).

Hittin like a ton- i love it. And always with a repeatable result.

I2 and G Core, use both often Players HXT is also a fine shaft. This poll seems to be based on name dropping. I assume McDermott sells more LD shafts than everyone else combined.
