over the far pocket.
The 2-ball actually dropped, so Mike was still shooting if the carom failed.

I noticed Shane went back to his extension for this doubles match. It looked like he wasn't playing with it the last few tournaments before this, and for Day 1 of Mosconi Cup.

What a shot. The glory of pool right there. Backs to the wall, end of the day, and go out victorious.

Still, the Europeans know how to make Vegas their home court advantage. Even their coach was jumping up and down leading the chants.
But after such a high note for USA, Darren and Nick are going to have to sleep on that unforgettable shot fresh in their minds.

Shane is very into this mosconi cup I'm 15 feet away from the table. He is talking to the players in between almost every rack. He may have struggled yesterday but he lead by example today. I expect shane to play early tomorrow we can not loose matches early.
