Make it to 70. Boy, was he wrong.
sweet! more hear say after the fact, lol.i wonder why none of those smart cappers and gamblers up there made a line that corey doesnt 70 or even 80? i mean they could have only won about 200k more. The Bourbonator said:Make it to 70. Boy, was he wrong.
So, then put your money where your mouth is, post the line as given by SVB, and bet with odds on it. If you're so confident, make some money at it?The Bourbonator said:I'm certainly not saying either one is not a standup guy. They are still humans and pool players and I think they are allowed to talk a little sh*t.
Shane told me a couple few years ago while we were watching a match on ESPN that I'd be watching him on ESPN before too long. I wasn't convinced in that case either.
Last night he told me how many games Earl would win against him. I think I'm going to believe him this time.
he very well may have said it! he also said something along the lines of every player was afraid of him too.saying it and meaning it are 2 different stories.he is still just a kid and he is going to put his foot in his mouth sometimes, like we all did at his age.The Bourbonator said:If you want, you can ask him yourself. He is Southdakotakid on this board. He might even take your action if you think he's wrong.
Ask him about the John Schmidt thing, too. If what you are eluding to is that he is a one-trick pony, that is truly classless.
Classless? Schmidt made the exact same statement when someone asked him if he would play SVB. If Shane's going to woof because of one win against Corey, that's what is classless. The Bourbonator said:If you want, you can ask him yourself. He is Southdakotakid on this board. Well, you posted the number he thought Corey wouldn't get to after the match was done. How about giving us a sneak preview and letting us know his prediction on Earl? The Bourbonator said:He wasn't woofing. I asked him how many games he thought earl would win and he told me.
No matter the number, he wasn't calling a champion a dog. He was just saying that he thought he was going to win. I'm sure Earl thinks he is going to win, too. There are two champions in this race and one is going to lose and I don't think anyone is going to call him a dog.
I'd like to see Shane play some 1P and 14.1, too, but an all-around with John Schmidt is probably not a good place for him to jump into that.

BTW, has the game been decided? Would SVB play Earl a race to 100 at 9-ball?
You and I agree on something.Russ Chewning said:I think with the difference in the mental games of Shane and Earl, that Shane would swim through a river of shiiiiite to play Earl.
Yeah, I said it...
It's not that I am saying that Earl is a bad player. I'm just saying that right now, Shane is a much much much better one.
