Shane .V.B vs Nick. (The Greek) Ekonomopoulos

Since you like Nick to win and I like SVB to win ill post and bet $1000 on Shane. Even

How about you read the post he responded to and then ask yourself if making an offer of an "even" bet makes any sense at all.

If you have trouble figuring it out I will help, it does not.

If someone says Nick is a huge dog then people have a right to ask those people what they are offering in odds.

You coming in and saying that suddenly makes the people asking what people think the fair odds are like Nick even and asking for a even bet is simply stupid.

Thank you Celtic

Other people, including me, said he was a huge dog.

He just said that he likes Shane to win, he didn't say he thought he was a huge favorite. If I was gambling, which I'm not, I would give even odds and put up 1.5 to 1 on the money.

I would give up 7 games even money, but again I don't usually bet... I might bet $75 to someone's $50 even or $25 giving up 7 games.

Well we all know that Nick invited Shane to play. Shane posted such on his Facebook page. We all also know that Nick has no chance in a legit race to 50 10 ball match with Shane. So the question I have is, Is the fix in? I has to be asked in a situation like this. Sounds more like a exhibition match. There is no way I would be a dollar on this match with this situation.

What's your name on Facebook? Are we friends on there?

The timeline was thus.

Spanky said:
Nick is a huge dog playing even, that is all I know.

Followed by a direct quoted reply to Spanky of...

Lou the Greek said:
How big of a dog make me an offer maybe we can get down.

To which Nicksaint26 then responded to Lou with...

Lou asked what the odds were since SVB was such a huge favorite (and he is). Lou NEVER stated he liked the action even, that was completely made up by Nicksaint26

Shane would never do that! This is the most ridiculous thing I've heard in years in the pool world.

Shane does not have that good of a track record out of the USA. Thus, I can only offer 1 game handicap for up to 1000. If nik can get to the hill, you win.

This match is way closer than yall think..Should be a good one..

In 10-ball because of SVB's dominant break and ability to use it to keep the table and put up huge packages there is almost no one on the planet who is really all that close to even. Even Dennis Orcullo was beat fairly soundly in a race to 100 and is an underdog against SVB in a long set of 10-ball.

Nick better be practicing his break non-stop from now until match time, without getting it to nearly equal footing with SVB's he is in trouble.

Nick has run packages in 10 ball manny times Shane better be on his A-1 game

LIke I said before I hope he wouldnt, I just dont see how anyone including Nick would think he has a chance in this match even. Just didnt seem right to me.
In the past I was the first one to get on someone for saying something was not legit, Like I said I would hope it isnt. Form what i have read here it looks like it is a legit match and that is great.

That being said I will not be betting on it, but I think Nick needs at least 7 games.

All the top European pro's have said Shane has even action with Nick. All he had to do is go to Greece, so he is. Then some say Shane lovers have there blinders on, he doesn't play good over seas, he better bring his A game. Then they turn around and say make a fair offer and I'll bet. If you guys are confident in your horse on his home table in his home town then bet on the guy.

I'll lay 120/100 against the greek on his home court. If this isn't fair enough for the Nick fans then your hearts pumping grape kool aid.

shit I said I'd lay 75-50..

Shane can be beat but it's highly unlikely... It doesn't matter who (or where)he plays, he is the favorite. Just watch the action room before the match..... 7 games is what it will take to get action.
