They have diamond smart tables in Olathe.
You know, I was thinking about matching up and playing here and there.
I think people (sweaters & stake horses) who live in a town where their road warriors most often leave town to go get action simply want to see action in their town. I can empathize with Zach and the rest of the Dallas sweaters who want to see Billy play at home.
I LOVE TO SEE ROAD PLAYERS COME TO NEW ORLEANS. Most of them can get played and they don't have to out run the nuts, seriously. They just have to provide a game that the locals have a 2 in 5 chance of winning, whatever that is.

For the most part, I think the road warriors records in New Orleans is more like 4 to 1. Our pool room owner MAKES US PLAY roadies whether we want to or not. That's what a pool room owner should do. And a road warrior doesn't have to worry about not having enough money for the bus. If he blows all his dough, he can get a walking stick, at least that is what I have seen in the past and i could name MANY professional pool players that have played that hand even though they didn't lose their dough playing pool in our pool room.
You get so tired of hearing the war stories about YOUR player going off to some foreign place, betting it up, winning/losing having a close call etc. and you just want to get a feel for what it's like to be right there on the one yard line when it happens and to be a part of it. I kind of feel like that about Olathe and I just hope someone writes in and says, don't feel so bad Joey, it wasn't all that good.
I probably wouldn't believe them but it might soothe my disappointment a bit.
