Shane VanBoening's "bread" stick

:boring: <<< that's the closest to a yawn in AZ emotes.

You guys have gotten wayyyyy too punny ! :smile-us-down:

When he gets good rolls like that with that bread cue, you'll want to scrape some dough together to pick one up yourself. All your opponents will be toast.

Shane does play jam up! Or is it jelly up?

Like you guys kneaded another post on this thread.

They are likely talking about Russian pyramid. Crazy game...

No, in the TAR match they were talking about a game called caroms. Russian Pyramid is whole 'nother crazy game, with ultra tight pockets.

I guess Earl isn't that crazy after all it's rubbing off on other players

Sheeeat! Shane Aint no dummy.

And earl ain't all nutzzzzzzz.

Breaking the balls creates a repetitive stress on the elbow/ upper arm. I bet having a grip on a larger diameter can reduce that, especi(funniest bread joke ever, here)cially around the elbow.

I will let chopdoc do the musculoskeletal smarts.

I've noticed that before in some videos but usually the resolution/lighting is not adequate to get a clear view of it.

Does anyone know if he grips it on the raised section itself, or on the narrow section right at the butt cap? I've noticed Shane and several other top pros will tend to look back at their grip hand when lining up on a break shot so presumably they feel exact positioning of that hand is beneficial for their break.

This ended up being a crumby thread...no matter how you slice it.

Get yer shit and crouton down the road.

See the cue...ESPN2 Replay on 02/26

It looks like ESPN will replay the three matches of the Atlantic City Challenge of Champions on 02/26 on ESPN2, 7:00 EST.

You can see SVB and his famous "bread" cue on the second and third matches at 8:00 and 9:00.

...but I got no puns to add to this thread.
