Ok guys if you'd like I'll continue to give a play by play. Although this would be for people who can't possibly watch the stream, anyone who can, needs to buy the stream it is some incredible pool being played.

Please Do!

For the record I am trying to purchase the stream....having difficulties. But your updates would be greatly appreciated mean while. Thank you

Ok everyone score starts at 35-31 Shane

Shane breaks Two balls and has a shot on the one.

makes the one and is a little straight and far enough to require use of the bridge on the two.

He draws from the bridge on the two out to center table for the three.

He comes up short on the four and leaves a wide angle having to cut the four four just below the side pocket.

He misses the four.

Alex makes the four and has good angle on the five, he should get out.

The seven's a little close to the side but Alex pockets it and runs out to make it 35-32.

Thx, appreciate your time.

Alex breaks and makes two balls.

As usual though, he loses control of the CB. He ends up with a long shot on the one.

Alex misses the one, but doesn't really leave anything.

Shane is contemplating a carom from the one to make the eight.

He makes the eight and is looking at a long either three ball combo or a carom to combo the two from the five off of the one.

It looks like he's thinking about the combo.

He tried it but missed.

The nine ten had tied up when Shane missed the three ball combo.

The nine ten appears to have been wired into the side and Alex comes within two games of Shane.

35-33

Alex breaks and makes two balls.

He has an open shot no the one.

He leaves himself a bridge shot coming off the two onto the three but cinches it with good shape on the four.

Alex landed really tough on the six.

Alex misses the six and leaves Shane a long shot on the six with difficult shape for the seven.

Shane comes short on the seven since the corner's blocked by the ten.

Shane makes a back cut on the seven in the side and a carom on the ten at the same time to stretch his lead back to four.

38-34.

Shane breaks two balls

He has an open shot on the one.

Shane makes the one and the two but is stuck playing a three seven combo.

He makes the combo controlling the CB and the three.

Shane rattles the three trying to put some stuff on the CB for shape on the four. Shane leaves a tough shot for Alex and he may elect to play safe.

He shoots it in with great shape on the four.

The six is sitting in the pocket and this should be a routine runout.

He runs it to get within three games again.

Alex breaks and makes a ball

Alex has an open shot on the one.

The only thing a little difficult on the table is the layout of the seven and the eight.

The eight is sitting right in front of the side and the seven is about five inches in front of it along the rail.

He appears to be playing for a bank on the seven.

He cinches the bank and hits the ten trying to come around for the eight, he ends up with a strange angle on the eight but plays it perfectly.

He finishes the run to get within two games. 36-38.

Alex breaks and makes two balls.

Alex has an open shot on the one.

The three is tight into the corner with the seven sitting there. He played for a three ten in the opposite corner and came up a little short. He may elect to play safe here.

He plays a two way safe/bank on the three with great shape on the four.

Alex gets a little straight on the five on the head rail and ends up odd on the six he cinches it and finishes the run to get within one game.

37-38

For the people at work such as myself, thank you.
Go Shane! Go Alex! How can you root for one or the other? They're both great.

Alex breaks and makes three balls.

He has bank the one and lucks it in one extra rail.

He ends up straight in on the rail with the three and tries to draw back off of it for the four. He ends up shooting off of the rail and rattles the four.

Shane runs it out to increase his lead back to two games.

Shane breaks in one ball

He has an open shot at the one.

Shane comes up short with shape on the six and it hits the titty on the side pocket and the CB ALMOST scratches in the side.

Alex takes a tight eight with little room to get by the nine for granted and hits the nine with the eight and it rattles out.

He doesn't leave an open shot but leaves a good chance for a safe.

Shane plays a two way two rail bank on the eight and it somehow manages to the hit the titty on the side pocket but leaves it super tough.

Alex lets it go and misses it horribly but lucks the eight right on top of the nine giving Shane no shot.

Shane plays a safe by using the nine as a stopping ball for the eight and putting the CB on the other end of the table.

Alex slams it to try the bank and slops a safe again.

Shane banks for a safe and comes up a little short.

He doesn't leave an easy shot at all.

It's makeable but not easy.

Alex slams it again and misses it badly this time not lucking a safe on Shane.

This may be a sign that Alex is mentally breaking down.

Shane makes the eight and comes up a little short on the nine.

He cinches the nine and ten to get back three games in the lead.

40-37

Shane breaks three balls

Alex tries to play safe and the three caroms in the side off the ten with luckily good shape on the four.

He then comes up short for shape on the six and has to bank the six. He makes the six with half way decent shape on the seven.

Alex is leaving himself a lot of distance on these shots.

Alex manages to run out with less than stellar shape on every shot and a double kiss carom luck shot on the three.

He gets within 2 games again.

38-40.

Alex breaks and makes two balls.

He doesn't have an open shot on the two, the seven blocks the pocket.

Alex makes the safe and Shane tries to play the short rail kick threading between the three and the five but hits the five while barely missing the two.

Alex gets BIH.

The six is sitting right behind the ten so the critical shot is shape from the five to the six.

Alex plays it about as perfect as you could expect from where he was.

ALex gets out and gets within one game of Shane.

39-40.
