If they were to match up right now, playing a long race in 10ball or 9ball, who would you bet on? Dennis looks like he's playing the best pool of his life right now, and so does Shane. I think this would be a great match.

Hatch would be my horse...

I think Dennis will beat any of the americans playing 9ball or 10ball. Hey VooDoo.. do you think anybody on here realizes how good dennis could of been if certain things had been done differently in his life? He might of been the best 16 year old ever.. and I mean ever!!

No...I think he has never been given the proper respect as a Top player because of his past. I watched him play as a 14 yr old boy along with George Breedlove and Brian Gross when they were on the road with Greg{dad, R.I.P.}, his mom and Mark Hatch {uncle, good shortstop} during the Motorhome days, all three had talent but Dennis was special. Only 16yr old that I ever witnessed that had most of what Dennnis posessed was Chan Witt {died in a auto accident before he was 19}, now I am dating myself.

Voodoo~~~BigHurt and I agree alot these days, I knew I liked him for some reason:p

Dennis....

My money would be on Dennis. I think he is the best left-handed player alive. Sigel in his prime was the best but Dennis is so damn smooth. I wish his career all the best just because I love his playing. Now if I had to pick an everyday all around 9 baller to shoot a shot for me....I'm sorry folks but it would have to be......" THE MIGHTLY EARL".

I'll shut up now....

If you had seen Keith at 16, you wouldn't be saying that.

East Coast vs West Coast...Jay can be Tu-Pac and the Hurt can be the Notorious B.I.G....

Now someone from the MidWest will chime in saying "you shoulda seen Don Willis when he was 16"...<laughing cause all of this is in good fun and opinions are flying!!!>

Voodoo~~~enjoying this thread a ton

Dennis may...may have his game at that point, but physically I would want another 12 months under his belt to go after a 23 yr. old. Now mentally, I have to give SVB the big edge, and Hatch has a hard time being a step child. The Hatchet can and does go off the air, does SVB?

Played in a weekly match against Hatch, here in Raleigh, when he was in town with Michelle once. Race to seven, I'm getting a game and the eight. Kicked twice. Nuff said.

I think it would be a coin toss or who's breaking better that day. IMO that is as even as you get matching up.
