Sharks episode one

No, you don't understand. I have nothing against you either. You're probably a very nice person, but it seems that people feel that they have to tear down everything that other pool players are trying to do. I can't even say that that is your motive, but the end result is that people who are trying to do something to help the sport ultimately get discouraged from the unnecessary mean things said about them by other pool players.

I don't know why that happens. But I would venture a guess that you haven't gone on line and said anything extremely negative about any tv show or web series that you've seen and you didn't like. Maybe because you can do this, is the reason. I don't know. What we are trying to do is very hard and if you don't think that your so called honesty doesn't hurt and discourage people, I think you are very wrong. These people are trying very hard to do something different and also something to help the sport at the same time.

If you don't like it, then you don't like it, understood. But in your personal life, do you always tell your family or your friends the truth, as you see it, no matter how hurtful it may be? I think not. I don't want you to lie, I just want you to understand what you are doing and try to put yourself in the position of being someone who receives mean criticism as you have been giving. We are going to go on and the stories will evolve. Maybe someday it will be good enough for you to watch. Until then, please consider the consequences of such nasty remarks.

Thanks,
Jim

Jim,
Apologies if I misunderstood. But believe me... this is NOT a case of someone trying to tear down everything that other pool players are trying to do. I applaud pool players trying to do something for the good of the game because, lets' face it. It's a great game that we all love. And frankly, it could use an image overhaul AND all the attention people can get for it. I'm just not sure that this really does anything for the game. Its a "tv" show aimed at pool players. So you made something for the pool community that showcases the drama in the pool world. How exactly is that doing something positive for pool??

This looks more like a soap opera than anything that showcases pool or tries to bring pool to the attention of the masses. Its not really helping the sport in ANY way. Its just a vehicle for a few players who happen to be friends to get in front of the camera and gain a little exposure. And that's fine! Nothing wrong with that whatsoever. But when you look for exposure, you have to understand that not everyone is going to like what they see. And if you expect the world to sit back and lie to you, what would the point of that be? My opinion on this show is probably NOT going to sway anyone from ever watching/rewatching, etc.. I'm just a guy on a forum, voicing my opinion.

As for speaking my mind about it, my apologies. Had I known you were only looking for blind praise, I would have given you that. And the offer still stands. I'll go back and delete my posts and say nothing but great things about it. But if you're looking for honest feedback... well, you got it. But it seems pretty clear that's NOT what you were looking for. And for the record, I'm usually this honest across the board be it with friends, family, coworkers, online platforms, etc..

OK...we got some lovers and haters in the mix. Thats gonna happen. No one has asked the important question though -

Who is the girl in the black tank top?

Chris

The girl in the black tank top... Jiggly McJiggleson... Ignoring her for the Asian chick friend was a little unrealistic to me. The short film had potential, my only gripe is that the characters were all shotgunned out at me and all of their character development is happening at once. I prefer to have at least one "subplot" finish within an episode while building the overall story. Oh, also more Ms. McJiggleson please :)

I will watch further episodes, I've seen worse things work themselves out.

Sharks first episode is running on the front page. I hope you enjoy it. It has been fun and difficult at the same time, so thank you in advance for watching. I'm making sure that pool is not being shown in a bad light, but as a vehicle for different stories to evolve.

Thanks,
Jim

I thought it was very good for am amateur production; great job.

The acting kinda reminded me of Napolean Dynamite in an irritating sort of way, but the visuals and pool parts were awesome.

Nice efforts and very good quality of editing! Enjoyed it! Looking forward to see the next episodes :)

Sorry, off topic:

I saw a flyer in my pool hall that said you are coming to Sendai in March. Are you in Japan right now?

On topic:

I think if this show brushed up on the acting and storyline, it could turn out to be great for pool.

This is the start Lets hope it's good enough to last a long time.

This TV show is retarded. Nothing but a way for some slutty chicks and Horny men from Amsterdam to promote themselves even more. Hear this: NOBODY cares. None of you can play pool, and the pool (or the world at large) world could care less about any of you guys.

Wow So much hate Sorry you feel that way.

This is the start Lets hope it's good enough to last a long time.

It's nice to see some friends in this!
I want to see more keep it going :-)
ya never know what you might get out of this.

Good Luck!

OMG! If Kevin cheats on Ms. McJiggleson to get to the "big money players" he is a FOOL! Three (two little and one VERY big) thumbs up for Ms. McJiggleson! She can do better than him!

Ann needs to calm down before she confronts Kelsey. It would be a tragedy if they fought and tore each others clothes off, especially if it was in s-l-o-w motion. (hint, hint) :D

Anxiously awaiting episode two...
