Dan recently added another bar table. So we wont run into the late hours again due to being a table short.

The GM Plant is shut down and I will be on day shift that week so NO missing the Calcutta for me.


Hopefully I can buy a player that shows up for their match?

I expect 50 plus players in the one hole starting on Thursday night and a full field of 128 in the Open, 16 or more in the Women's.

Just saying, should be some great matches and a good Calcutta for the Midwest.

I plan to be there for the 9 ball auction......:wink::wink::wink:
 
I hope to be in attendance this weekend. Maybe markpatrick and Brendan Sullivan can match up for MO AZ King.

I am only coming out for the auction, if he is still there on Sunday, then perhaps since I will have more time to play.:D
 
Hey Doug,

Any idea when the fall event will happen at Shooters? I was thinking of coming out for that one and maybe pick up my cue then :)

Sign ups end at 8 p.m. it takes 15-20 minutes to get the auction sheets copied off then the auction starts. Usually around 8:30 but it might be 8:25. They do the womens first so the Open event auciton does not even start until 9 p.m. but I would not take any chances.

THe one pocket on Thursday nite will have an auction starting shortly after 8 p.m.

What time are they going to start taking sign ups on Fri? I would hate to drive up and not get in. :cool:
 
To be safe I would be there by 7pm. Or you could call Shooters and ask for Evelyn and she'll exactly what time you need to be there.

I would be there NLT 7 p.m. just to be safe. But I have a call into Evelyn and when I get the answer I will update this post.

I will update it NLT tonight since I am going to the One Pocket player auction. To buy the favorite Joey Gray.

Evelyn just called me back. The Calcutta will start at 8 p.m. both tonight for the one pocket and 8 p.m. tomorrow night for the Open and Womens tournaments.

The Womens calcuttta will start at 8 p.m. tomorrow, then directly after completion of that the Open division will be sold.

FYI---firm info directly from the tournament director.:eek::eek::eek::eek:
 
Headed to Olathe

We are going to try to get on the road about 12. Hopefully all goes well and we can get there by about 5. Look forward to see you all there.
