Shot Of The Year (2023)

I just saw another Melling magic shot yesterday, he ended up snookering himself, then dug out from behind a ball with a 3 rail kick on the 8-ball for the win.
***edit, found it ***

I can watch him shoot all day. He always comes up with something spectacular.
Interesting interview with Chris….he said when he practises, he shoots a lot of weird shots…he can always make the normal ones…..it seems to pay off.

I just played in the PA state 10 ball tournament, and my opponent missed the 10 ball. He left it about like this thread's video, but the CB was a few inches fuller. I looked at it for a while, and there really wasn't a great safe. I said to myself let me play the 4 railer. I hit it perfect, the 10 was tracking right to the center of the corner. 1 foot away from the corner the CB came around and kissed it:( I was thinking of Spain's shot the whole time, ha ha.

For the most clutch shot of 2023, I'd nominate the long carom off the two ball to pocket the nine by Gerson Martinez, which beat Pagulayan in the quarterfinals of the International 9-ball.

Fast Forward to 2h36m mark, left hand table. I'm playing Josh Brothers who is a very good player, 10 ball on the barbox, I'm on the hill.

Josh plays me safe, I studied it, then called the jump bank combo and got the safe just in case.

I'm only a 663 Fargo but I did call it and I wouldn't call it lucky because I aimed and hit it to make it and hit the cue ball with low to check it up and caught on video on the hill against a really good player and it was in January 2023. Big shiny bald head in all it's glory!

I only see an image, split, with tables

Ah it somehow looked like an image, but it's a video, if you click it. Great shot!!!

Caught the round/side pocket, fluke.
She got some luck on it, but the result was what she intended. I actually saw this a few days before this thread, and was slightly less impressed by it, because I had *just* seen the same shot on one of those "Battle" videos. It's like the "Horse" basketball game, where one woman attempted that shot, and then her opponent had to duplicate it.

Obviously different, but it reminds me of this old Efren Reyes shot:
