Also, FYI.. When you are promoting a business that deals with personal business cards, it might be a good idea to not have any typos in your ad...
"AZBilliards.com Speical!"?
Like i said, it's not large as that size is the industry standard from IAB, but for AZB posters, u don't see them that large or rarely in their sig spots. And yeah, i use a 1600 rez on a HD 27".AZE said:I do not hi-jack threads. Grady said he was going to start a league and I offered my services -- totally relevant to the subject. IMO. If I asked him if he wanted me to be a referee would that be an issue?
Thank you for pointing out the grammatical error, consider it changed
PS if 468x60 is huge, than maybe you should use higher res... aside from making my banner less aggravating you get to see more content without scrolling. Everything just looks better.

And ur right.... if someone is posting about in which u can provide hosting or website needs, that is pruty relevant. But the other option to play it safe is to probably PM the individual.
Like my reply back to Jcin... i should've PM'd him the answer, but my apologies...

I recall -- and I may be wrong, so subject to check-- that one of Mike Janis' posts about the Viking Tour were deleted on BD. I never did understand why, though.

I do have very clear instructions to remove any thread that is posted on their forums that can be construed as an advertisement.
I don't know what all of their thinking is on this rule, but I do know that they are a magazine that stays in business by selling advertising. Allowing people to advertise for free would not make a lot of sense for a business like that.

JAM said:Ralf Souquet was one of the shooters who didn't get the green dot to light up right away. Kevin Trudeau even stepped up to the plate, but came with a couple misses. Ralf did get the green light to light up eventually. Keith hit it after three or four attempts. It was funny to see the expression on their faces when the pros did come with a miss! They couldn't get their hands on that cueball fast enough to try it again.![]()
I wish I could remember the name of this device. It was a contraption that let you know if you were a straight-shooter, I guess!![]()

whitewolf said:Scott, do you remember when we first met you said that you would be our pool instructor for life, that any time we had a question we could just call you on the phone?
Sure do...and you've never called.
Scott, do you remember after the second lesson you had with my wife? After it was over I was standing at the pool table with a cue in hand and I told you that I could not hit the cueball straight up and down the table, that the cueball always had right spin on it? And your response was some kinda mumbo jumbo that I must be twisting my wrist or something.
Other readers notice: SCOTT DID NOT TAKE TWO MINUTES OUT OF HIS PRECIOUS TIME to look at my stroke.
Here's what you wrote: I just want to thank all the CCB'rs (www.billiardsdigest.com/CCB) who recommended Scott Lee to me as an instructor. Bluewolf and I had lessons last night, which we will never forget. You just can't say enough about the quality and quantity of Scott's teaching. he puts out a thousand percent effort, and is very entertaining, in addition to being very knowledgeable. Thank you, Scott!

That sure doesn't sound like someone who was dissatisfied. Why you are now...8 yrs later...who knows? With the exception of our disagreement about Fast Larry, I've never had any beef with you or your wife.
A year later it took Tony Robles a milli-second to notice that I was lining up the shot with right English - due to my extremely dominant right eye.
Scott, you do have a place in the lives of teaching beginners, but as far as I am concerned, you can get lost.

If I have it correctly, Mike owns this site. However, he also owns his own business and maintains many other pool sites, including Billiards Digest.Johnnyt said:I always thought Mike owned this site...who does? Johnnyt
