Should we start a petition to change the 5 ball back to orange again?

Remember the 5. It’s the write thing to do.

If we get a petition started I’ll deliver it to Karl Boyes of MR as I’ve know him for 15 years. Or at the very least he can point me in the right direction and we can create a voice loud enough to correct this tragic assault on pool as we know it.

I fully support MR and everything they are doing in pool, I believe we all should get behind them and support their effort. They play players, create content, will give rail birds something to bet on.

Everything but purple 5 balls.


It’s a necessary change to restore what little order we had in pool. None of us ever complained about the 5 ball. God knows we have argued everything else into the ground 10X over. But show me one thread about how bad the orange 5 is. We all have common ground the orange 5 was correct. Possibly the only thing in pool that has been correct all these years.

We can start a international movement here, now is our chance.

The orange five ball thread is still alive.

Back in ancient times, before HD television, the excuse was to make balls an ugly color to stand out on your TV. But now you have HD TV in even low rent Motel 6 rooms. Along the way ball manufacturers saw a way to sell more sets so they came up with all sorts of ugly fuckin' balls. Pool players with more money than good taste went out and bought sets of puke ugly balls.

Fatboy, have a run of orange 5 ball tee shirts made up and sell them here. Have a bunch in extra small and cut off the bottoms and get the girls to wear them in some of the photos you post. That would generate some real attention.

I really look forward to an entire set of major league babes showcasing Fatboy five ball is orange cropped tee shirts. And since you have pushed the envelope on some photos, do the petition proud and soak the shirts too. Yeah!

You’ll get free ones. Good ideas must always be rewarded in life. I’m a firm believer in that. Anyone who contributes anything to any of my ideas or businesses always gets rewarded.

That’s actually the key to my success’s. Holding out in people to be more profitable is the absolute most short sighted way to grow or make money ever.

It’s been a year +/- since I started the orange 5 campaign, prior to that I wasn’t watching much pool for a couple years. I do talk to people in pool all the time-that’s never stopped and I also pay attention to who’s winning/losing. I didn’t log on to AZB for over 6 years straight almost 7. I wasn’t banned/just wasn’t here.

Had I noticed sooner, you can be certain I’d have started the day I found out.

It's kind of pointless isn't it?

Emily Fraser has said recently "IT"S HERE TO STAY. WE'RE NOT CHANGING ANYTHING".
