Daughters name....also not billiard related. Personally, I like tattoos and plan on getting more (where you can't see them). You can't see mine unless I'm in a tank top (and since 1988 I'm never in a tank top).
Regarding the life of a tattoo it is all in how you take care of them. Modern day tattoos done by a GOOD artist can last forever. First, look at THEIR portfolio before letting them ink your body. Price should not be a concern when getting a tattoo. Look how their tattoos heal. For 3 weeks you've got to take care of the tattoo as well so it can heal properly.
Then, if you want your tattoo to last, you can forget sunbathing forever unless you load up on the SPF....but too much sun equals bleached tattoo. Also keep your tattoos moisturized...and I guess that is it.
BUT, I would hope that unless pool is truly meaningful to you....don't get it tattooed. Both of my tattoos have meaning to me, and I want a few more. I've played pool all of my life, and love it as much as the next guy....but I don't want a TAZ with an 8 Ball (no offense Mully). If somebody saw an 8 ball tattoo on me, I would assume their first thought would be "he's a drug dealer", LOL...not a pool player.
Just my .02. Good luck!
