Show me your Joss West!!!!!!

I have collected Josswests since 1973, right after Bill Stroud and Danny Janes parted ways. I currently own about 70 of his cues from across the years. One would have to say I am a Josswest fan/collector. If I can figure out how to load pictures onto AZ, I will post some.

My favorite is the box cue. I have box cues from Stroud, Ginacue, Schick, Mottey, and a host of others. By the way, if anyone has a fancy box cue by these cuemakers, let me know. I`ve been lookin` for ya.

Will
The pictures from Will are the ones I have been waiting to see!

Will, I sent a PM and can post the pictures for you.

Here's mine

Here's my JW. This was my player for about 15 years. I have retired it now. Bill Stroud built it for me in 1983 or so. Black kangaroo leather wrap. Purple and powder blue points with MOP diamonds. Sorry about the poor quality of pics. Enjoy!!

here is what i dont understand. ppl always trash cue makers on their quality and sharpness of points and inlays. all 4 point joss west cues have rounded points but this is an exception why do you think this is?

this blue cue is amazing but all points are round

Bill Stroud's newer cues have flat bottom points... thus rounded. He uses them because he feels they give the best and strongest construction. This is why he doesn't use spliced points (which are sharp) any more. Nor does he use full-spliced fronts.

Mr. Stroud has used many different point construction methods in the past, and now feels that flat bottom points are the best and most accurate way of cuemaking.

what do you mean by flat bottom points?a very close friend of mine has a jw from very early 90's with round points. my question is why is this ok for jw but not for other cuemakers

Jimmy,

I have to say that I simply love this cue. I've gone away from metal rings and whatnot in cues but I'd make an exception for this cue! Gorgeous, just gorgeous!
