Show us your flame cues!

The rings are pure Haley. I admire the execution but me thinks Travis may catch some heat for this one.

It has recently come to my attention that Travis consulted Ron before doing this. Apparently, according to Jaime (and I have no reason NOT to believe him as he knows both Travis and Ron), Ron had a few tips for Travis.

That being said, this could be considered a Blackcreek with Haley influences and, well done at that!!!

Nice cue...I've come across alot of beautiful flame and tiger birch but always had the thinking it might be too soft for a cue...what's your opinion on the cue you have??

Thanks Craig. This cue has a sweet hit, notice the straight grain running through the "flames". Even though the joint is quick release, the cue plays nicely, very comparable to maple.

I really think Ebony nose really set off the veneer colors better than any other wood. I don't have one but may need to get one.

By the way, is your JWP still MIA?

Look at the color of the veneers......

Typically some pattern of yellow/orange/red...

A work in progress. Flame veneers minus the yellow and plus the white. Close enough. What do ya think?

I REMEMBER THAT BLACK, SOME IDIOT ORDERED IT TO BE HIS PLAYING CUE.

Why is he an idiot? That's what it was made for. I could understand if he ordered it to unclog his toilet or something but a cue is made to shoot balls with. That cue is very nice looking but it's not so nice that it should be put in a case to be seen and not heard.
