Been a long time since I have seen $ bet on a pool game around DC. out of the loop I am.

Looks like everything is up in B-town as far as action.

I'm definitely out of the loop. Haven't seen a good action game locally since USA Billiards in Laurel.

I'd say First Break... the past few times I went to Fast Eddies I didn't see any action and the tables were playing rough. There are a few A and B players shooting sets all the time at First Break. For players closer to keith's speed, it's a tossup, I've seen deska a few times at FE and shuff a few times at first break.

No action in Q-ball in Springfield for some reason, which is a shame, the tables are perfect.

Q-ball does have good playin tables, you are right. I was there a couple months ago and played on some newly recovered ones and had a blast. Yes, that shot did require 3 rails of draw!

Shuff swung thru Glen Burnie afterwards and I conned him into going to triple 9's, I trap those bullies on the 3c table, bagged more than a couple whom I wouldn't play rotation with, getting substantial weight.

Shuff gave me a dose. 15-7, 15-8 and 7-5. I laughed, I cried, I paid, I loved it.

it always cracks me up the names of players in the pool room. Turkey, piano man etc.

Over the years ive played in rooms with guys who were called
Drug Addict Randy (gainesville)
Crying Brian (miami)
Honest John (gainesville)

never fails that there is always someone in the pool room who people dont really know them but by their pool room moniker.
