Sick jump by Shane

I watched it live it was one helluva shot and had more than just draw on it. It delivered a bottled of alcohol to Alex.

That shot is more than sick, that shot has to be one of the best considering the stakes. Neils had to have been like you have to be fu*%king kidding me!!

Not bad...

Travis Trotter does that all the time....but just in the basement with his dad since he doesn't like to show off!!!

Your comment is one of the rare times I wish there was a "like" button like on facebook....your comment is exactly what i was thinking.

Check out this sick jump shot by Shane at 1:12:00 in this video from the Derby. First of all, he is using a full length cue and draws the length of the table off of the rail. Man, that just ain't right.

WOW that's SVB!!!!

One thing to note is he uses a very very thin tip which makes full cue jumps a bit easier than a full tall tip.

He did another real smart thing after that shot, he took his time to calm down and gather himself after making such a great shot, thats a very smart mature move. Shane is playing even better now than he did 6 months ago, its amazing to see someone his speed get better. His game is maturing very nicely at a good pace. I'm sure happy for him. One day he was practicing at my house and he sat down and said "Man, I work my ass off". He was playing 12 hours a day that trip-2 years ago. Its paying off big time. Shane is a great player and deserves a few good rolls!!!!

Go Shane!!!!!!

best

hmmm

Yeah, well, when he makes that shot with a Meucci, give me a call:grin:

That was one of the best shots I've ever seen....

One question though. Why didn't he just play a stop shot? The insane draw stroke seemed extremely low percentage and completely unnecessary.

Don't get me wrong... this is one of the best shots I've ever seen, but I'm slightly confused.

Maybe to play safe just incase it hung up?

I know I'm off topic since everybody's talking about the shot but can someone tell me how many minutes into the competition do I have to fast forward to inorder to catch the shot? I'll watch the entire tourny but China and YouTube aren't best friends so it's taking me forever to load... it's best I try to skip to the best part first then watch the entire game later... Thanks!

If people still wonder why Shane started using a glove just watch this video.. Almost as bad as Double J

I doubt that is what he was trying to do.

If you look closely, you can see one of my shoes in the background. (It's all about me, me me.) This shot is what won SVB the all around champion over Alex. The crowd went crazy.

The OP says it's at 1:12:00.

As has been previously stated, the cueball action Shane got after the jump is what's impressive here. The jump shot itself is rather easy as it was a half ball jump and not a full ball jump. But getting the action he did on whitey while executing a jacked up shot was indeed impressive!!
