So what is for sale in this thread?
Karl
Taking a quick look at itrader and playing devils advocate the dude "singernak" has done 30 deals here and 3 have left bad feedback......How does one respond to that? Like I said just trying to see where the "one of the good guys" mentality comes from. This deal is possibly issue 4 that we know about.
Search the name and a few other "disparaging" words come up.....As i Said I have no dog in the fight but 30 deals and 3 bad ones that we know of and I would be using escrow for both parties.
I had someone recently offer to buy a cue, they asked if it was available, asked for my Paypal info and I marked it sold, a couple days go by and no payment. I contact this person twice and then finally they responded back that they picked up something else but are still on here looking for a cue. I thought about posting negative iTrader but instead just put the person on my $hit list. Most likely down the road I will have another item the person wants and I might have some fun with them by issuing a refund after they send me the dough. :grin-square:
P.S. I have met singernak in person, seems like a good guy, possibly he sold it already but a phone call would be good or something just to let you know and also to be on good terms if something down the road comes up with another cue it might mean a possible sale.
I know the feeling Lenny, I've had about three of deals in the past couple of months that folks have asked for paypal, said money would be in ASAP or first thing next day and nothing. I've got one deal now that the guy said he was purchasing a cue a month ago, twice has stated M.O was in mail and nothing, then stated hadn't sent yet but was. Same person has purchased two other cues or items in this time, I may just keep the cue at this point. Welcome to AZ!
I would never buy anything from singernak unless he agreed to use escrow. I'm not saying he's a good guy or bad guy, just wouldn't buy from him unless he agreed to use escrow. Singernak and I have discussed this at length on other threads.

It's very easy to condem someone and then mob mentality sets in. Just a possibiliy that you lowballed him or created so much mistrust that he decided to end the sale and communication with you. I am not putting you down but, you have 0 itrader and little experience. I think most AZers would love to hear singernaks side of this story as long as you made this sale public. In some of my sales zero itraders made such lowball offers and demands that they were'nt entitled to any responce. Larry
just so we are clear I agreed to pay the advertised price of $1,650.00 with escrow paid by me, i did not attempt to low ball as i tought the cue was reasonably priced (also because I am new and I dont know singernak I simply tried to protect myself)
I know nothing of i trader, but if you wish to know about my dealings you can ask bill grassley whether or not i am a honest man, i have sold and bought cues from bill over the last few years pricipally because bill is local to the detroit area it is convenient to contact him and arrange for payment.
Why not just use Bill Grassley as an escrow service, buyer pays escrow fees.
Gerald, thanks for the very fair reply. It seems as though two honest people tried to make a deal and it turned sour. As they say $hit happens. I'm sure you and Singermark will go on about your business and life will go on. The reason I replied about your posting was because it happened to me. I bought a case on Ebay and a few months later sold it using the same pictures and it stired up a storm. One phrase was( if it were a snake it would have jumped up and bit me). Another low life questioned my honesty by implying hmmmmmmmmm. If they would have taken the time they could have looked up my 300 feedbacks and found a happy buyer and seller, but they would rather attack my character. Larry
Steven, you don't have to worry about ever dealing with me as I have put you on that list, you can't even return my phone calls after trying to sabotage my reputation here.
