I just finished installing 12 brand new 7' Diamond Smart tables in Skip and Jan's today. These are the newly redesigned rails, and they play like a million bucks! This room is really becoming the place to play. No other place in Arizona can top their equipment.

I am happy I get to be a part of rebuilding this pool hall and to put Skip and Jan's back on the map. The hardest part is out of the way. The ground work is done. Now it is up to the players to bring the action there and make this room the premier pool hall in Arizona.

Zach, you have probably made many people very happy and others pissed off, but that's okay. That is what happens when you do good work. Can't wait to come up there and check it out.

New Diamonds

Wow, that's a sweet delivery. I would love to have hijacked about half of that truck and sent it north. I looking into doing the same thing and was wondering what they did with all their old tables. There appears to be some valleys or something in the background. It's a little tricky getting rid of all the old at the same time to make room for the new. Just curious.

Zach...you now have a show room to show case your talents...and Natalie now has a real poolroom/restaurant/lounge...and Arizona finally has a table mechanic that KNOWS what he's doing....good job buddy:thumbup:

That should make SKIP and JANS the Hot Spot in the Valley of the SUN. Too bad it is on the East Side of the Valley, but the East side has the BEST ROOMS,and BARS in the Valley of the sun IMHO.

The room owner got them all sold before the delivery. They were all stacked outside on the curb for when the Diamonds got there. It went pretty smoothly.

Scott Lee - They are located at:

Donnie - I just stretched a string across the room and lined them all up.

I wanted to say thanks to Gordon Graham from Vegas for helping me get all those in and leveled up perfect. See ya in a few weeks in your backaryd this time.

Was just there from around 11pm until 2am practicing, the table played great and it felt good to not have any doubts besides myself, table rolled perfect. I could not beat the price for the Monday special of $2 an hour table time, my tab for the 3 hours I played and soda was like around $10. I am only 5 minutes down the road so I will be there more often trying to get my game and mind right. :embarrassed2:

Zach was there on sunday the tables play great. The lighting on the 9fters was perfect. My question is will they be getting diamond lights on the 7 footers those lights they have now need new bulbs or something. thanks

So, Zack or Glen, the logo is BLUE on the new-rails 7' Smart tables... correct?

And it's black on at least the new-rails 9' Pro Am... correct?

I believe that they are red on the original 7-footers and the 9-footers, correct?... so what is the rest of the color scheme for the other new-rails tables?

TIA, cd.

Looks good Zach, my team and I may have to plan a day trip to practice before Vegas.

Now, if we can only talk Lenny into getting a ouple of these for Pockets Billiards here in Tucson.

As I understand it,The new diamond Logo on the newly calibrated production run is Blue for all the new tables. Before the Blue, the customer had the choice of Red or Black logo. There are however many red and black logoed tables that have been recalibrated to the new spec.'s. That is the work that Glen trained half a dozen guys around the country to do. We did that to the old 9 footers at Skip & Jans from the early 90's?. Now they play identical to the brand new Blue logo tables. nice work Zach, glad to help.
