I heard him broadcasting an event saying he has his green card and being a dual citizen he would play for the US because Europe wouldn't choose him. It doesn't get any more American living with Earl.
I don't think that matters, tons of European players live most of the time in the US and play on the Euro team although that may be by choice. I have not seen any official rules about who can play on what team.
I wouldn't get too excited about people viewing Skyler as a bar table player. Shane also spent a lot of time on the bar table and I'm sure many thought of him as a bar table player right up until he wasn't.

I think you're misunderstanding what people are saying. They are saying Sky is better on a bar box than a 9 foot table. He's still pro caliber on a 9 footer, but he's beyond that on a bar box. At least that's my opinion.

Actually, as strong as Skylar is, Jayson the beast is 20 points ahead even on a 7' table. That suggests the over/under for Sky in a race to 100 is 88. We don't have enough data to clock Sky very well on a 9' table though. My guess is he'd be closer there than most people think. The whatever-table specialist idea is more myth than reality, imo.
I was at a late-night beverage table with both Jayson and Skylar a couple months ago at Reno, and Jayson made a comment that he could whip out his something and run out with it on a 7' table. He was speaking in Scottish, so I couldn't tell exactly what he was saying. I'm assuming it was some kind of jump cue he had in his case....
I see Mike Dechaine is signed up for US Open events on the 7' table. I am curious how he will do.
Oscar asked Sky to play after he beat Bergman in the 10 ball portion of their match. Sky's camp wanted a spot (the 9 ball playing 10 ball). If that has changed, Oscar is ready to play.

I just want to talk about what this poster stated - that he is retired with tons of money and would put Sky up against anyone. He has an offer from Oscar but has now disappeared. Like I said - imagine that. Pool and the bullshit involved around it never change.
