I'm pulling the pictures off of two old cell phones, I'll let you know. All I said I could guarantee is cues were built in Florida, not which ones. I know Rob is tilted and going off, but I don't know how he would have the client list unless he was building for them.

The only thing that is important to know.. since Leon goes around showing all these pics and saying I built this, and I built that, to build his credibility.. If someone ordered a cue from him and got a Harris, its tantamount to fraud.

Private labeling is an entirely different conversation.

And go ahead and refer to my cues as knockoffs, tributes, clones, copies. or whatever floats your boat.
You and I have disliked each other for years, suppose that's never gonna stop but no one really cares.
The cue-makers I used are very well respected, highly regarded and build their own cues so Nuf Ced.

My thoughts too.

Especially in our world where it is so important who made it makes a significant difference in value, and resell.

I have learned in my years in pool and cue collecting, there are a lot of pool players and cue makers that are worshipped that are real dandies.

I dealt with a real loser cue maker in Florida, paid a deposit on an agreed price, and then 5-6 years later, he wanted to more than double the agreed price. Yep, you guessed it, he is still noted as a premier maker..:confused:

I also hear how some cue makers aren't taking orders or have years and years of wait to get a cue, but bigger collectors can get cues almost immediately, or at least "jump" ahead of the line. Yep, they are worshipped, noted as a premier cue makers....:confused:

I am not surprised at any of this drama.

This is gonna play out just like lance Armstrong for the sly guy.

He really hasn't done anything nobody else didnt/ doesnt do, but the level of hubris and inability to come clean about it are gonna be long-run problems.

just by how they respond says a lot about a person. so for me who does buy cues. i wouldnt order one from either person.

and except for a select few i wouldnt order a new cue to have built..

Would this not be considered private labeling?

As a business person and fans of cues, I wish I can build cues, and often want to go the private label route and sell one of a kind custom cues.

Sly should have Harris sign a Non Disclosure Agreement (NDA) and it would have prevented all of this. Not only did he not sign one but he has a customer list which backs him up.

No.

If he puts his name on a cue, it should be HIS cue, period!

If he wants somebody else to build his cues, he should have a different name for those.
