I'm not trying to promote smoking, just telling a story here.
I grew up in a small mid west town in the 50's and every one smoked. All the farmers had cigars, pipes and chew and cigarettes were common. I liked the pipes and cigar smoke and was fascinated by the marksmanship of some when they hit the brass spittoon. Even though I have smoked cigarettes at times I never liked the odor, cigars and pipes are different to me.
My table is in my garage and I allow smoking in there if non smokers are not present. I know none of the smoke is good for a person, but there ya have it.
I miss some things about my child hood, especially the old pool halls with the Brunswick tables and drop pockets and how they smelled.. I like a cigar when I'm in a marathon session with a friend.
God Bless America!
