Just rec'd from Laurie ( Jan '09 )

Serial Number : 39508

I think this is one of the hottest SW's I've seen in a while .. the finish is like glass ( as evident in my shot of the butt .... )

Very nice SW...I understand how you feel when you get the cue new and see the gloss of the ebony that seems to shine...

That is my kinda BEM. I like em small eyes. Nice cue you got there.

This is a super nice SW cue and it has the AB rings which would be a must for me if I ordered a new SW cue.

Time well spent

so we went to play .. 2 guys... 2 southwests and a whole lot of time...

now i have to say upfront, this is not the first southwest i have played with .. i mean, this is Asia ... there are southwests everywhere !

and to date, the only one i have really enjoyed playing with was mated to a jerry franklin shaft ...

this cue is so stunning that i was truly apprehensive that it would not meet my expectations but thankfully, it far exceeded it ....

it took me all of 15 mins to adapt to the new hit, feel and throw but after that it was like speeding down the highway with the wind in your air ... exhilarating !

i am a happy man.... :D

my thanks to Laurie and the team at SouthWest for a great cue !

Wow, I placed my order with Southwest in 2000 and still have a few years according to them. Yet another list you seemed to have got around to getting a cue quick...unless it's used and refinished hence why it came from Laurie. If it's new you sure have a talent getting these hard to get cues pretty quick for a guy that's only been playing 5 years. Just how does he do it ladies and gentleman! :D

And first and for the record, no I'm not saying anything about Laurie's integrity..jeez

it is brand new as evident by the pin number .. 08 / 95th cue of the year - i believe that makes it a december cue ...

Yes Kam I know I was being facetious.

I'll assume your either best friends with Laurie, you bought someone's place on the list from them, or you assumed the idenity of someone that had their name on the list and ordered the cue you wanted. :D

What's next a brand new Balabuska
