Jerry,
it takes about a week to make. The conceptual part takes the longest.
I have to put all the correct elements and maintain the theme and ,I only have a small "Canvas" to work on..,
Plus, there is a hole in the middle for the joint screw, so, I have to think of how to captivate everything so it is solid and sturdy.
Then, I got to think of how I'm going to actually make it.
Parts/materials, machining processes and the logical order of making it, because, some things have to be done before the other things can be done.
Then, I got to hope everything comes out, as, one screw-up/flaw, and, all is no good.

Everything has to "Come Together" to be successful. And,
as I mentioned, " 80% I'm not purfect "

...it's almost the other way round: you wanna have this :happydance: and then you have to buy a nice gina cue to match these great joint protectors!

Unbelievable job!!! :bow-down:

It is nothing like I pictured and I know for sure I will be blown away when I hold it!!
Your communication, updates are unmatched. I love the fact that I didn't see the process (I was worried but I trusted your reputation) and, absolutely blown away with finished product!!!

Amazing work Alton. No matter what the design is, you pull it off every time. I'm curious to know how many hours went into making this cap, because there is a ton of work it. Outstanding job!
