I'm thinking about buying a sneaky pete again. Azer's help. Who makes the best playing sneaky out their? I like a solid playing cue. Any suggestions. Thanks Wayne

i have only had my frey for a week but i really like the hit and would recommend one to anyone, my only problem with the cue is the tip is not to my liking but thats no big deal i as i will have a moori med on it soon. also there is a thread in the wanted for sale forum about the ariel carmeli sneakies that are available through westerncue.com and from what i have read these cues are very stiff hitting and comparable to a southwest cue because of the shaft taper

It depends are you looking for a "sneaky Pete" a stick that in my opinion looks identicle (wood to wood) joints, like this one Predator SP or Dufferin makes a good one. But it you want the plainest (I mean that in a good way guys) looking cue the a cue builder makes that somehow got the name "Sneaky Pete" then go with a Kevin Varney or Bob Frey I shoot with a Josey right now but thats the cue I ended up with when I upgraded to 60" .

I never thought I’d say this (I have several custom SP’s – sorry guys), but, I just bought a hardly used, ebony, Player SP, and I’ll put it up against anything in my collection (currently 50+). Honest To God.
I’ve compared it to some others (a lot of guys have these) and this one has a real nice, tight grain pattern in the shaft. Plus, I stole it!

The 2 best I've played with are Keith Josey and Tim Scruggs.
Of course you'd have to find the Scruggs used.

Theres a Stacey, A Jerico, a Klein (Heard his shafts are great), a Bludworth, and a Bear on ebay right now.

I have a Thompson Sneaky with a new Sniper tip that I'm getting ready to put on ebay if you're interested.

Lots to choose from, heard good things about all of them.

I have a Blud also. Pretty good stick.

The best SP in Virginia, a Dave Bollman's cue, work out of Qmaster Billiard [home of U.S. 9Ball Open].
