Thank God

Vivian, God Bless you and the child. I just can't express how happy I am for you both.
We have had a couple of conversations about this and you have been very courageous about the whole ordeal. The Hell is over.

Yes, there is a Santa Claus! That's some of the best news I have heard today. I am thrilled for Vivian and wish them all the very best.

That's the most wonderful news I've heard! I'm so happy for Vivian!

I can't believe the birthmother won't be punished for her actions, though. She should be sent to prison for the pain and anguish Vivian has gone through these past eight years, and confusing that poor little girl.

Fom my understanding and what we are able to find out here, that the child has been given the choice of who to be with at this time. She chose her biological mother. There is a court hearing set for Dec 15th to make more determinations.
Eight years of a childs life is a very long time and this is probably very confusing to her.
This would be a time, for Vivian, of very hard decisions about a an extremely delicate situation and there is a lot to be considered.
I can't help but feel a bit of outrage for the BM either, but, my feelings are not important. I am extremely proud of Viv. She is showing wisdom and courage at this point.
I hope this works out well for Vivian, but, I hope it works out best for the child.
Hard desicions!

That was Vivian who give Nathalie the choice, and I understand that after eight years of being with her birthmother, she would be confused. That does not change the fact that her BM kidnapped her. By giving Nathalie the right to choose, Vivian has shown she has more love and compassion for her than the girl's BM. My heart goes out to Vivian now more than ever.

I know that Vivian has been heartbroken over this, ever since it happened, so long ago. She was literally frantic for the first year or two, and no doubt it has played a role in her success in pool. She has recently reemerged as a confident, sponsored pro player, with the will to win. Let's hope this helps her succeed even more, now that she has some kind of closure. It will be something when the daughter grows up enough to really know what happened to her, as a small child. Best of luck to Vivian and her daughter!

I understand your feelings as well. Vivian is well represented in this matter by a lot of those with experience in these kinds of dealings.

Vivian, you have many fans out here that are so very happy for this news. We admire your putting first things first in regard to your daughter and admire how you have handled this situation.
You are an awesome person and we all are happy for your news of learning the truth about someone you love.

This is great news for Vivian and she is truly incredible for not pressing charges and allowing for Nathalie to have a choice. That's amazing!

Wow. That was a tough choice Vivian. I hope Nathalie grows up understanding what a wonderful mother she lost and strives to be the kind of person you are.

And I hope Nathalie's birth mother understands what a gift you gave her back and cherishes and nurtures that girl to no end.

I am glad the unknowing is over. Best of luck going forward.
