So Where's The Gear For Us Older Players???

You know, I'd love to wear a polo with depends, BenGay, Geritol, etc. patches/embroderies on it...that would ROCK.:grin-square:

Be careful what you ask for.... I'd love to see a team do this, but I'm not sure I'm old enough to be on that team.

I don't know why more of us don't use shirts like I see on some bowling teams. Those are designed for comfort. And why not add all the various patches?

Typically, I do not wear pool related clothing but, to be honest, I wouldn't mind if there were options that didn't have bold artwork and/or sayings on them that are better suited for twenty-something year olds.

I have a couple of csi polo shirts that are nice and I know hustlin' usa makes a polo shirt, too, but they tend to be a little over the top for my taste.

Funny how when I see older players wearing Hustlin' gear it gives me a shiver..., well, all except one person...

I don't know why but when I see Efren wearing them, it doesn't bother me one bit. Can't figure it out - I think he could wear a pink moo-moo and I'd still be so enthralled with his play that it wouldn't matter - I think.

So, am I the only one who thinks there's a good market for more conservative pool related t-shirts and polos?

Any already out there that I've missed?

Best,
brian kc <------ who has an idea for a pool t-shirt that would sell like hotcakes, but again, targeted at younger players.

p.s. "sell like hotcakes" reminds me of George Carlin who asked "couldn't they come up with something better than hotcakes?" He went on to say that if you go out to breakfast you'll see that they're selling, for instance, many more eggs than hotcakes but it wouldn't sound as good to say "Michael Jackson's new album is selling like eggs". :grin-square:

and when i said old people looked like goofy old men that were trying to dress like kids everyone called me a jerk

Would something like this be closer to what you're used to wearing???

You just need white socks to fit-in with the crowd here in the PNW. Yup, sandals and white socks is where it's at...LOL::cool:

I actually own a couple of pool shirts my wife bought me for my Bday last year and they are actually pretty nice. I will ask where she got them from as I am not sure. The are T shirts, and there are a couple of them I wear all the time.

I'm too old to be wearing those really baggy shirts and shorts that show my crack on the back side for sure.......especially the shorts.

Personally,I miss the stuff George Michaels used to sell with his Winning Garb line.

Nice stuff, and priced right and perfect service done the old "correct" way to me,over the phone and with a printed catalog LOL. Tommy D.

I live in Columbia Missouri where the University of Missouri is located. The idiots who run the university decided after 120 years of playing in a Midwest league it would be a great idea to join the SEC.

Prior to our first game with Georgia one of our players made a derogatory comment about how boring their brand of football is, calling it "old man football".

In the 4th quarter, with Georgia ahead by 3 touchdowns, the Georgia fans were changing "old man football". It wasn't fun watching Missouri get beat but it was funny to hear that chant and a bit of karma.

I believe someone was marketing 14.1 t-shirts which seemed conservative and "old man" looking to me.

George's wife was good to deal with also.

The bowling shirts will have to do.
