Some progress pics. Any guesses?

I just got some progress pics on my cue. I love it.
Anyone wanna guess who's work it is?

New Update! (09/01/09) Well, I let the cat out of the bag a while
ago on who the maker was of this cue. Again, the maker is Lee
Peppers of LP Custom cues. I just got these updated pics from
Lee, so I thought I'd share. Whattya guys think? I know I'm not
a leather wrap guy, but Lee recommended this one, and it looked
so darn good that I'd thought I'd give it a another try. Should be
ready to ship very very soon! Pics of shafts and all to come soon!

I guess James White.
Nice looking cue by the way.
I like the long veneers, very sharp. Congrats
Jeff

I thought that too, however Tony takes better pictures than that from what I've seen......

Good observation Roscoe. LOL. I did try to give some pointers out
on the picture taking. No, its not Tony Zinzola.

Thanks Jeff, much appreciated. The points will be a bit
shorter because theres still a couple of finish passes to
go. Great call guessing James White because I got the
inspiration for this cue from a James White cue that I
saw on here a while back. Not one of his though.

My first guess

My guess is Leon Sly. Regardless of who is making it the cue will look sweet when finished. Please post picture of the completed cue when he time comes.

Thanks

Kevin

Not Leon either. I'd like to give him a shot one of these days. I appreciate
the kind words. I believe that it will turn out awesome also. I was going to
try some rings, but I play with the original 314 precats, and they are solid
collars, so no matching up needed! Oh, and I will definitely post up some
completed pics when it arrives.

i'm keepin on keepin on man, i hope things are going well for you. the points seemed a little long to be a tucker, it just reminded me of a cue i saw for sale a little while ago. thats gonna be one sick cue though. i love me a steel joint.

I'm glad everythings cool. I'm trying to get over to VF, but who knows.
Thanks for the compliment on the cue. I'm also an S.S. piloted guy.
That joint just feels right for me. Take care bud.

Jerry R or Bob Dzurky are my last guesses.

Kevin

Neither of those two guys either Kevin, although their styles
are right up my alley. I know I said I would give a hint tomorrow
night, but heres the first one: He's a member here on the forum.
I know that any of the guesses so far may or may not fall under
this criteria, but no one has guessed correctly yet.
