to my knowledge simonis is the most durable. perhaps your getting more play or you have change to a low grade ball. I haven't noticed any change in quality. You might even want to check the tips on your cues make sure there round and scuffed.

I play at a a pretty high level and will just give you my opinion as a player on Tour Edtion cloth. I don't mind the extra speed for eight ball and straight pool and can make the adjustment pretty quickly, but, for nine ball it is just annoying.
We have a couple of places in the area using it and here is my comparison to 860. The cueball is rolling slowly and you expect it stop in the next 4 to 6 inches the ball rolls another three to four feet. When the cue ball is rolling very slowly it should be coming close to stopping, but, not on this cloth. The guys that play out of this place regularly are not really playing pool. I mean they are not putting any action on the cue ball. They are just easily hitting the ball around the table to control the cue ball speed. I like it to some extent because it is challenging and different but I think the speed is so different that it changes the game. You might as well be playing on the slate itself.

I am actually a fan of 3030. Have used it with success for a while. I think it has been a good compromise between room owners and players both looking for something that is usually different.
